I've been discovering new shows lately and I was wondering what some of you guys like to listen to/watch besides Diggnation of course?

yea, I dont use iTunes for the Rev3 feeds, mainly because I prefer the Large.

And, magun, you dont think the 1up network is a little juvenile? I personally cant stand their style.

And oddly enough, none of those are in the general section.

Main podcasts I listen to/watch are:

Ask a Ninja
Diggnation
dl.tv
Hak5
Lab Rats (not the most in depth but deff. fun to watch)
Off and on I listen to leo laporte and his 500 different podcasts
Security Now! (the only leo laporte podcast that I watch every cast)
X-Play

I listen to 1up yours very sporadically, only when I have time and I'm usually burnt out after listening to my favorites.

My top three however would be (this is excluding all rev3 content)
1:Team Fremont Live!
2:Broadcast Gamer
3:GamerAndy Live!

I don't watch G4, and I don't think x-play is a guilty pleasure at all for me, regardless of how they review, there is generally good video footage of a game in their reviews of games I have a little bit of interest in.

Xplay sucks large amounts of cock now, if I ever see Adam Sessler I'm going to deck him one in the face.

And to sum it all up...

Indeed, that does sum it all up. Its sad, because he use to be respectable. And, maybe Im just a man of principal too much, but I always hear Kevin Rose talk about how Peria is a pretty good guy. But I still seem him every day on AOTS (well I personally dont but ya know what I mean) either being a puppet for money, or actually believing the verbal diarrhea he spews. Either way, thats a douche to me.

Not to mention Olivia Munn, who's just there for something to look at.

The only thing remotely watchable on the network is Ninja Warrior.

And I watched Xplay a bit recently and they do so much shit that is completely unnecessary, I really don't care what they feel are the best racing game, etc.

And nobody is making you guys watch it. Thats the great thing about podcasts and well, free life in general.

Thats not the issue. The issue to me is that as long as G4TV is breathing and failing I seriously doubt another company or network is going to try anything close to "Tech TV". So, Im stuck getting a chubby from GameHead on Spike because its the closest thing to legitimate Game or Tech show on TV, and freaking they use the old Hardy Boyz theme music from WWF half the time. I say, we need a PodcastTV channel. Have someone make the general channel and then let podcast pay to be on there and get the money from ad space they sell. It would be no production cost out of what they do now, and a larger ad revenue. Sure, most podcast would have to clean up their presentation (not censorship) but I think it would work. Do kind of like a Diggnation model. Have new content air on tv, then a few days later make it available to download.

Bringin it back, bringin it back.

TWiT is fun, though recently it's not been that great.
Net at Night (With Amber Mac, it's alright sometimes)
Systm
The Broken
Ask a Ninja
Tiki Bar
Best Week Ever
TRS
CAC

So yeah, I basically stick to TWiT.tv and Rev3 stuff

(And it hurts me what's become of XPlay, it used to be so fantastic, and I'm not even a gamer...)

I say, we need a PodcastTV channel.

Why on earth would I EVER want to watch something on TV when I could watch it on computer whenever I wanted too and if I so desired connect it to my TV?

I was all for Tech TV, it was awesome, but now that it is gone, and PodCasts have risen, I say good ****in' riddens. Especially with companies like Rev3. IMO Rev3 has taken a slightly different path than I thought it would take, and am looking forward to imitators so I can completely throw away my TV and say goodbye to my cable bill.

Yep, I barely watch TV anymore, save series I'm invested in 24, Heroes, House, etc. and The Discovery Channel.

I am one of the few who likes Infected, all the Leo stuff is cool. I recently checked out cranky geeks (LOL his blog push is great). I've been digging into the obscur with uncensored net noise on morningshowcentral (but it's too long at 3 hours) and then a few shows on I-tunes from tigerprince
2nd hour is funny stuff, let's talk women and ocassionaly in a nutshell (but I'm not too much into sports). I was surprised that I enjoyed this week in law. It's cool because they applied it to the internet so I guess that's what makes it interesting.

I think I agree with the person that said they should have one place to put these and structure it like network tv or radio for that matter. That would be cool to have a guide seeing what time a show starts and on what day. It would also be great to see all the shows competing for their particular time slot (i.e. Neilsons Ratings). But all that's irrelivant since the content can be downloaded whenever. I think that's the draw to internet content, it's not pegged into an exact time frame just watch it when you want to watch it.

Oh and sorry for bringing this topic up (again). I'm a newbie.
