I picked this up during the Woot-Off in a pack with a MS keyboard. I love the feel of both the keyboard and mouse, the only problem is, it has a Smooth Scroll Wheel/non-ratcheted (no click when you scroll). This is great for viewing web pages, reading text documents and the like, but it falls apart in gaming. Sure it works fine for RTS and MMOs, but in FPS when you have to use the scroll wheel to change/cycle weapons its either unresponsive aka have to make big scrolls to change weapons in FEAR and Quake Wars or the smallest movement scrolls too fast in like UT2k4 and Half-Life games. I was just wandering if someone with more experience knows a way to fix this, or if this is just a problem with this style of scroll wheel and FPS's. TIA
Also, I could of sworn that while I was playing FEAR and finished it I didnt have this problem. Then a few days went by and I bought the expansion pack and started playing it, and thats when I noticed it was harder to change weapons and started testing it out on these other games.
