Ep2 lists a Sarah Lane as Executive Producer(along with Prager), is this the same one from TechTV/G4?

Kevin Jay and Jim are not that retarded to even consider that.

I had a sister who was clinically labeled as retarded.
It also means slow...so I don't think Jim Kevin and Jay are that slow minded to not learn from others past mistakes.

TechTV only failed cause it got sold. It was a awesome channel that had the programming down in its peak. When g4 bought it they screwed it up all by their lonesome, so lets keep the blame where it deserves to be. A clueless company that tried to marry geek culture with MTV. This time around the geeks are at the helm and i dont see them selling out anytime soon.

Also Rev3 has the advantage of being "teh interwebs" company, so production costs are nowhere near TechTV. Which in turn means that profits dont have to be that high to succeed.

I mean they can work on the cheap, not having to use expensive equipment that a normal TV studio uses or even rent a studio space for that matter.

With a combination of solid infrastructure (studio with good lighting, audio, highend equipment) and great talent (for both on air and behind the scenes) Rev3 is really gearing up for something big.
