It's time to get the party started. Who has already picked up and read some of their books for this week? What did you think? In keeping with the theme of the General Discussion thread - which covers were the good... the bad... and the downright ugly?

I'm not a big Daredevil fan, but this is one nice looking cover!

Now this would have made an awesome cover. Why DC didn't use it, I don't know...

The Truly Ugly... Countdown 38
I don't think it's really that ugly. It's just not really Cover material. I think most of my disgust with the cover is the fact that it's Olsen, and his storyline is doing next to nothing for me.

What does the first clause of your sentence mean? Every time I try to read it, I black out. And I don't feel very good when I wake up again.

Sorry. I saw the movie and didn't like him. The movie is just like the book right? Right? ;)

I don't like the art for Black Adam. Is that just the cover or the inside too?

The Countdown and Black Adam covers get the nod for comedic value.

I once went backpacking and filled up my water bottle outside of a chemical plant, the water made me sick, so I hate water now. :)

Oh my God, Namor is so pissed.
I love X-Factor, but the covers rarely do anything for me. In contrast, the New Avengers cover made me eager for more information within.

For such a good week the covers were mostly pretty bland.
I thought Batman was pretty alright. Not quite there, but good.

and Fables is beautiful as per usual, plus much more color than we've seen recently! Wow! (Although the printed version the colors are a bit more muted than this but it still stands out.)

And you have super powers.
And oddly enough, I know every superhero in the world's secret identity.

Fables and DMZ were the best covers for me this week. Best book too in DMZ. Righteous.
