Running Time: 00:44:10

The San Diego Comic-Con is a rite of passage that is unrivaled among pop culture experiences. So iFanboy thrust themselves back into its churning masses with a giant-sized show featuring Cecil Castellucci (Plain Janes), Freddie E. Williams II (Robin), Jeffrey Brown (Incredible Change-Bots), Ethan Van Sciver (Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps), Derek McCulloch (Stagger Lee), Adam Beechen (Countdown), Scott Kurtz (PvP), Bill Willingham (Fables), and Jim Lee (All-Star Batman and Robin). Plus, Gordon the Intern on the convention floor, and this is just the first part of our two episode San Diego Comic-Con extravaganza!

[IMG]...Bill Willingham (Fables)...

Did Ron kneel down behind him while Conor ran up and pushed him backwards? And if so, is that included into the podcast?

Is it just me, or did Van Sciver give off a bit of an arrogant air?

Over the years of attending cons, I always wanted to find myself in a crowd scene somewhere in Con coverage. No real reason, I just like the idea of the candid capture.

Leave it to my new best buddies at iFanboy!

There I am in all my pixelled glory! For the soundtrack to the moment, check the con coverage of John Siuntres at Wordballoon.com.

But aside from my new found fame, this was a fun episode! The bag trading might have gone on for a smidge too long perhaps but it was chock full of some cool interviews. AND they weren't just blurby quick interviews but had some nice substance.

Ron's "moment" with Robert Downey Jr. was priceless.

Kudos to all.

I haven't even watched the episode yet, and I can tell you he did.
His interview on Word Balloon was grating. The guy thinks very, very highly of himself.

He's cool but he does come off that way..

I love Ethan, so he didn't seem arrogant to me. The highlights of the episode were Ron's picture "with" Downey, and Josh's "Suck it!" Great work guys, looking forward to seeing who you got for part 2.

Heh. I adored that Van Sciver Word Balloon episode. He came off as very candid and yet a bit "wink-wink" as well. To me anyway.

Ethan didn't really come across as arrogant. Met the guy at the con, really friendly and laid back.

Ron's "moment" with Downey was an instant classic. As was Gordon with all the girls, the Intern is a crazy pimp. I wonder if part 2 is going to have any footage from the party.

Unfortunately no. We weren't shooting anything that night, since it was our time to have some fun. So you had to be there, or you missed it.

Oh I was there, loved it, just wanted to see if any of the night managed to be captured.

Watched the episode this morning and I think it's my favorite one you guys have ever done. You really seemed to be enjoying yourselves and having fun. I think that those feeling bled through into the show big time.
Excellent job guys and I hope Part 2 stays the same.

Van Svciver hinting that he'd like to work on Wonder Woman and Flash nearly blew my mind. Argh! Get him on the Wonder Woman book, DC. Please!

I was just watching the IFanboy vidcast and saw gordon the intern interviewing some alice in wonderland boothbabes with some sweet art behind them, what comic is that or what is that art for?

It wasn't Fables. I don't know what that booth was.

The bag trading might have gone on for a smidge too long perhaps...

But why on earth didn't Gordon ask the girl dressed in her bag if she wanted to trade an item in her bag for an item in his?

I know that would be my first question to her. I have a way with the ladies see

Fun as always. Has anyone read the Zenescope books? If so, are they any good?

I finally broke down (after bothering their girls again) and picked some up in Chicago. I'll be reading and reviewing them soon.
