Know what a Slingbox is? No? Then we pity you terribly. But even if you're in the know, you'll still be surprised to hear what Slingbox CEO Blake Krikorian has up his sleeve. Om and Joyce sit down with him and grill him for all the crucial details. Plus, this week's sizzling Hitlines, and of course, your scathing fanmail (we love our brutal fans!). Sit back, relax, and press play: it's the GigaOm Show!

I have watched all three episodes, and they are all great! The enjoy the discussions and the questions, I personally feel that this show needs to be an hour!? This would naturally allow more questions and a rich discussion, and maybe from the viewers!

Keep up the good work!

There wasn't a big difference from the 2nd episode, but I'm not saying i didn't like it. The one thing that I really liked is how they got Blake Krikorian, CEO of Slingbox on the show and i thought it was nice to see how he wants to innovative as much as possible with every release and i find the products very creative as well with both the inside and outside of the box.

One more thought, I almost shit my pants when they read my comment from m. I was flipping for a minute, but sat down and continue to watch the show.

EDIT: I would like to see John C. Dvorak on your show as well, i have enjoyed the Cranky Geeks show and will be a nice trade off for him to be a guest on your show

here are the +ves:

1) both Om and Joyce know what they are talking
2) awesome contacts in Valley and great guests
3) snippets section is nice

the -ves:

1) Om tries to tower Joyce.. let Joyce talk fully, inspite it being your show, give her ample opportunity to complete what she started with (and your opinions on every topic go on and on and on.. "somebody stop me!")
2) Om: be more active.. I respect your wisdom, but the polar-bear-sitting-on-couch look is annoying. You could be (more) lively like Joyce, but then, everybody is different
3) Joyce isnt eye candy, she has a legal perspective, and let her deliver that

hope to see this show get better..

another good show guys. I think the rapid fire didnt fit too well, I think this show with the current hosts doesnt work well with that hardball "crossfire" kinda thing . I find the humor is working well for me personally and at least for me I like how open Om and Joyce are getting. I would rather you let slip a little figgity nervousness then to act like a couple of know it alls. The new geek world is of bringing it together, not drawling lines and showing your smart enough to defend them. That time is over.

Like einstein said -

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, complex and more violent. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.

Joyce your more beautiful each show as you relax more and just be you and Om your doing good too, just keep relaxing and sharing the spotlight and you will attract people for reasons that go beyond the tech in the show. I mean let's be honest, we can get the news from other shows and many times the auidience your talking to has. You wanna give them a reason to come each week to see YOU guys.

See ya next week guys.

oh one more thing....

Bring us on the show is a big thing to us. Even just flashing a thread in the begininng is awesome. In the emerging media platform your presenting yourselves on, its very communial. Making it feel like its not Om's show but joyce Oms and our show seems to be a smart idea with this stuff.

Ok laters

This was a good episode for me. At work I have put in place Sling box solutions to get TV channels streamed from all over the world that we can't get in Australia. At $400 AUD a box, it's a VERY cheap solution for a business. Very low maintenance and administration required.

I'm interested what this catcher thing could do.

Although I am an avid reader of gigom, techcrunch and mashable and other tech sources did not have a clue about the slingbox, so this was a refreshing episode.

I think there needs to be a email reminder for when the episode are released, I am always forgetting these things.

The interviews are the best features of the entire show. Reading tech blogs more or less gives us the update news about the industry, but you can not beat interviews. They can be compelling and gripping, I like the rapid fire questions on the show; so cool.

Make sure you email me when the google boys come on the show, I think these guys are such an inspiration in their whole journey.
