I choose both as well since I have yet to even use Mac OSX but I love Linux and the look on Mac OSX.

Mac for work, Windows for play.

For this I choose all three types, Linux (Ubuntu and Red Hat at work) Mac OSX and Windows Vista.

But I'm more of a Mac/Linux fanboy, but i'm not like DOOOOD MAC R0CK5 M4N! WIN0HS $UCKS!!!

Yup, it's a good way to go. My house is evenly mixed between Linux, Macs and Windows PCs at the moment. It's a beautiful, harmonious experience. ;)

I have to use all of them for my day to day. I use Linux for servers, OSX for graphics and video and Windows for well, um...

I am try to fully transition to OSX but there are still a few things that are holding me back from the 100% switch. Now with Parallels it makes it even harder to make the 100% switch.

I use the all, but my preference goes like this:

a distant 3. Windows XP

the question should'nt be winxp or osx, it should be vista or osx. Vista is out to RC1 people, its getting close.

why shouldn't it be XP vs OS X, Vista hasn't been released yet.

It will be Vista vs Leopard when the time comes. Right now its XP vs Tiger

for me, i wish it could be:
1. Mac OSx
2. Linux
3. Windows XP

but in reality, it sadly is:
1. Windows XP
2. Mac OSx
3. Linux

There are a few threads about it already in the Mac forum. I've tried it, works well

I have been using Windows since 95 I think....it's still #1 used of course, and I wont stop using it ever, but mac is starting to win, at least in my opinion, I used to hate them, and now I WANT A MACBOOK so badly!!!

I recently got sucked into the mac-user realm when i got my imac. Surprisingly, there are a few things that I actually DO miss windows for. Like stable versions of Guitar Pro. That don't suck. Oh, and games.

But for anything video or image related, OSX hands down. Photoshop and Final Cut are nothing short of H-A-W-T in all caps.

XP stands a chance. If it's Vista you were going to throw into the mix, then Mac wins hands down, and right now I'm stuck with Vista.
