I have these two DVDs right now, I need to decide what to watch in a few minutes. Is The Host a horror? I hate horror, but stuff like M Night's Signs is cool. Talk to me.

Watch Disturbia...I really liked it. I've been Beaufed though, so take that as you will.

The Host was really good. I liked it more than I liked Disturbia at least. In The Host theres a little spot in the middle where it drags on a bit, but the action picks up again and the ending is pretty cool. The special effects for The Host were pretty damn good too.

i would watch disturbia first. i didn't like the host much at all, mainly because i couldn't stand the acting/dubbing.
Disturbia is BA....thats badass

The Host is fantastic. And there's a subtitle/original track for the one complaining about the dub.

Didn't watch all of the Host but Disturbia was pretty good. Solid cast. Good pace. Pretty good movie all around.

THE HOST isn't perfect but it has moments of absolute genius.
It also has a kind-of strange sense of humour, which was evidenced in the director's last movie, the brilliant MEMORIES OF MURDER.
I liked both. I wouldn't really call The Host horror since it wasn't really scary. It's more comedy than horror. I cried a little bit in the end though.
I hate everything dubbed so I'd say that you should watch it with the original Korean audio and English subtitles.

Dubbing is evil.
I've only ever seen one movie where the dubbing wasn't embarrasing: DAS BOOT.

I was watching the host and took it off in the middle. It was going OK but I was on the computer, paying more attention to it, I will watch it again soon.

the host was cool i got kinda bord here and there, it seemed kinda funnyish? not horror so that made me dislike it some.
Disturbia was great, i dunno i dugg it alot.

Iv never seen The Host but I have seen Disturbia and I hated it. Shia is the only thing that saves that movie from being really bad.

Thanks for the suggestion :) I thought The Host had this awkwardness infused into the funny moments which made things seem a little more realistic.
