George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty... oh wait, that's been done before.
Scott Weiland, Slash, Dave Kushner, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.... damn, that's been done too.
OK, a more original idea... throw Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Herrera, Roger Manganelli and Scott Owen in a room full of guitars and see what happens... and Dexter Holland can do vocals.

Haha. I love Matt Freeman and hope he got over cancer okay. Joey Cape? Hmm.
I'm just going to say my superband would be the 4 piece version of Green Day from their last album. But they are doing Mr. T Experience songs.

Travis Barker is an amazing drummer but he keeps breaking bones and can't just commit to one band... I'd so have Dave Grohl or Lars Ulrich drumming from my supergroup before I'd ask Travis

thank you i got some weird looks when i put cape in my band. and i totally forgot about brett reed. but it would be kind of unfair to have 1/2 of rancid in my band. i might as well just get the whole ****ing band. Rancid with bagpipes is my new superband

SERIOUSLY, man, if you're ever in Los Angeles, hit me up.
duuude, I've been wanting to hear that mix, though, since I heard each of those bands. It's what I wanna hear more than anything else in music.
This would also kick my ASS:
Victor Wooten-Bass
Zap Mama-Vocals

One day... one day... sadly I have a wife and child and the few vacations we can muster we go to the UK to see our respective families. Where's Hiro when you need him?
anyway... I need to pay more attention to your musical posts.

I've always liked Static X, NIN, Rob Z, SevenDust, Sabbath, and, of course, Mr. Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Malmsteen. Now if they all got together, THAT would be a SuperGroup.

well either no one listens to don caballero, or they just slipped your mind, but i would never make a supergroup without damon "the octopus" che on drums. id put the guitar player on here too, but im making my own to not have two guys from the same band, or were in the same band.
matthew bellamy(muse) - guitar/vocals
jesse f. keeler(dfa1979/mstrkrft) - bass/synth
damon che(don cab) - drums
if i were to make a band going for a lighter/folkrock sound id use these two for sure, the rest of the band doesnt really matter, finish it if you want:
chris thile(nickel creek) - mandolin/vocals
sarah balliet(murder by death) - cello/keyboards
