So I heard about the Folklore Contest (http://www.us.playstation.com/EP/Promotions/286) and started to do research on this game which looks amazing. I ended up on youtube looking for some random gameplay videos and found someone who was from the States who posted a video of the game, saying that they just made a Japanese PSN account. Is it possible to have access to the Japanese PSN store so I could actually play the Folklore demo, not to mention all the weird stuff that will be released on the Japanese PSN? So I ended up here (http://blogs.ign.com/xheavenxsentx/2006/12/09/39684/).

It looks like this is actually possible. I am, however, very hesitant to do this since I'm sure it will violate the EULA somehow and when Sony catches on to people doing this my PS3 will be banned from ever connecting again. But it does look awesome.

well there are some instructions on the link. And I'm also sure there are better instructions elsewhere, but the hard part is figuring out a real japanese address. Probably google mapping one would be fine.

I signed up awhile back and just BSed most of it (as per that site). You can do this with the UK region as well if you're US (and vice versa). No problems so far. People have been doing this for some time now and Sony hasn't done anything to stop it (as far as I know).

Successfully downloaded Folklore and found the game to be fun, but because it was in Japanese, it took a lot of trial and error.
