Birthday Present

Ok so my birthday is coming up in about two weeks and my parents have been asking me what i want, problem is im not sure. so ive come asking for suggestions from my fellow totally rad dudes and dudettes. the only things i came up with so far are:

1. xbox 360
2. amazon gift card (buy a bunch of cd/dvds/books)

preferably something less than $300. thanks

well...I'd go with a 360, but an amazon gift card could be put to more use...

well there is something special about opening up a present and seeing a console underneath. Opening it...hooking it up. A magical time.

An amazon card you'd get...and then decide what you want to spend it on..and then wait for it to come in.

As for other stuff you could get... we don't really know what you're into. Wii's under 300..but do you already have one? Are you not interested in the Wii?

Anyway, I'll try to think of some stuff.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't said anything about my birthday coming up to family and friends. I don't want them to worry about getting me anything. I have no clue what I would ask for. Maybe they could pay some of my bills, or a plane ticket out of NC for a bit.

If your at all interested go for a Wii dude. It's a lot of fun. I've had mine for a while, since i waited for it on launch day, there's some pretty good games out right now. And a lot of good ones to come. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Pretty solid line up.

thanks for the suggestions guys, i think im gonna ask for the 360...does anyone know if they started shipping the new ones with the 65nm chips yet and also is there any big titles coming out in the next month or should i wait a few months to buy a 360
