if i turned off 2 cores in the bios there would be not a single bit of difference from the quad to dual core

other then it would maybe run quite a bit cooler

ok maybe quad would be better because of the extra 4mb l2 cache, dual's only have 4mb cache quads have 2x4mb and 2x6mb

but no i don't video edit that much, maybe once a month, i only really do advanced hardware testing on up and coming computer hardware

oops can't forget amazing wolfdale, 6mb l2 cache

It will need a newer PCI Express graphics card to play the most recent games, but I am happy with the 2 year old or older games for now. Out of pocket system cost was only $240 with shipping. Newegg of course. I already owned the OS and HD.

I always liked my travelmate laptops. They never did me wrong, but the last time I bought one was 3 years ago. Other than it being a bit slow in todays multi core world it is still going strong.
