I think jeff works at a bowling ally. Alex gets money from diggnation, not sure if theres another source of income and I assume dan gets money from commercials.

Alex is an actor, he's said that he's almost constantly doing auditions... or playing WoW.

Can't really make a lot of money that way.

Both Jeff and Alex are actors. While Dan is a director. I imagine they will all get paid for doing the show since Alex said he got paid for doing Diggnation a couple of episodes back. Don't expect any replies from the TRS guys on this (I don't blame them) since it's kind of a personal question I think.

It may also be stipulated somewhere that they can't talk about how much or if they get paid for doing the podcasts. I think it's also a breach of journalistic etiquette to blab about how much you get paid.

Actor, Actor, Director.....but really, they are rad, isn't that all that matters?

I believe they all get something. Alex does the web stuff more so we can guess he gets more. Rev3 handles the ads, I believe. I'd assume they get something but nothing to retire with quite yet. Why worry about this stuff? Just enjoy the show!

Sponsers = Money Income
how much? we don't know, but the more viewers a show has the more a sponser has to pay to advertise, this is why kevin mentioned a few episodes back on diggnation that if people are hosting the episodes early for free to tell revision3 how many people downloaded so they can tell their sponsers the exact ammount of viewers... So yes they get paid for doing shows, because I really doubt they are interning ! :-)

I believe Jeff said in one episode he was working at "the bowl" which I think means the Hollywood Bowl, an amphitheater/concert venue in Hollywood.
Of course, that's just a cover for his real job: Time-traveling space pirate.

They probably do get paid, since TRS is not produced by Rev3, but is licensed. I don't think the 3 of them are employees, but more like contractors.

If I'm not mistaken DannyT is Demi Moore's chaffeur.

Wha? Surely you jest sir! The man doesn't drive manual transmission (stick shift? I'm not expert in the American vernacular)! Plus he's said he rarely wears ties. Okay that last bit is probably more from movie logic (Driving Miss Daisey) than anything else...
Unless I was dreaming of Jeff (again?) I'm sure I heard something in passing about Jeff working at Blockbuster. Might have been a temporary thing in between other things though.
If the guys aren't being paid, I hope at least they get Revision3 to cover the cost of their weekly movie or something.

Alex Mentioned on diggnation he gets paid to do diggnation, and Kevin doesn't (I guess he just runs the business and takes what ever profit he wants)
Both Alex and Jeff from what I gather are actors. I don't know if they earn good money, but Jeff from what I read has a minor role in the iPhone campaign, and did an infomercial. Alex appeared in a Pizzahut ad too, no? Dan directed some TVCs as far as I know of.
TRS I don't think has sponsors. Well I never heard them talk about godaddy or Netflix yet. Have they? So I think this is a hobby show. That Alex with his Kevin Rose connection could get up and running.
Why did somebody find this a stupid question? I like to know what goes into a podcast too. Considering this show has a prettygood audience it would be interesting to know if there's a financial reward for it. As the potential is there, and if you like the show, and the guys can rely on it as an income, it'll keep it running longer and improve even more.
I found it a totally legit question.

I thought it was cool too. I don't want to know their annual income or anything but knowing that you could make good money "doing what you would normally do anyway" Is a great thing. I hope to do something like that soon and it looks like it's already in the works.

Since the beginning. Remember the 'goraddy' competition? The thing about the Netflix sponsorship for TRS and Diggnation is, that the Netflix offer has no meaning even if you learnt about it through Diggnation or TRS. Both Alex on TRS and Kevin on Diggnation have done the Netflix spiel/bllurb like they are offering something to Rev3 customers. Thing is, those are the prices they offer to everyone.

What do you think the GeeVee video game contest is? Obviously they are getting some money from them; if they just wanted video game footage they could get it off YouTube.
And Alex was in a Domino's commercial. And he used to be in Dell commercials. How much does a guy get for a commercial, anyhow?

I'm think the sponsors don't pay TRS, but rather Rev3. Some of that money goes into their paychecks, I assume.

I dunno about America, but in Australia a commercial if for a big client like Dell or something you can get quite good cash. I knew a couple of actors, and they would earn over $20 000 AUS a year doing 2 or 3 big client ads, like Ikea, Myers or McDonalds. You still need a day job, but not fulltime.
