Well, if you've ever been wondering just what Patrick Norton was going to do after DL.TV. And if you've followed the speculation since his departure. He seems to have now officially announced that his next gig is actually Revision3.

He mentioned that he will co-host Systm with David Randolph, as he's been doing. And there will also be a new show that will be "About using technology and not getting your a** kicked by it."

Can't wait. Congrats Patrick. :)

You can hear him explain it in the latest TWiT: TWiT 110 (http://www.twit.tv/110)

First of all, kickarse you probably haven't watched DL.TV in a while, so why would this interest you anyway! ;oP

Secondo, he mentionned that they will have to find out a new name for the other show (did they originally planned on using "The Screen Savers" name in the hope that the name was too common for a trademark to hold?)...

That's awesome, glad to see that they are going to start a new show and not just take over Systm, not that I would mind, but this gives them the chance to start fresh.

Thats what I was thinking! We know Revision3 is building a studio...I think we're finally getting the return of the Screen Savers (well, whatever they decide to call it)

I'm very interested in finding out what Patrick's new show will be. I'm glad systm will have a regular host now, but it is his other project that intriques me the most.

Yeah, sorry about the typo for permanently.

I was in a rush, so much so that I typed everything out like a maniac within 20 seconds.

If Leo co-hosts, it would be an epic surprise. Epic.

I doubt he has enough free time now though.

0_0 a new TSS would be awesome as long as it was like the good classic stuff.
pull of a live show for Rev3 thatd be sweet.

I honestly doubt its a Screen Savers show. The Rev3 crew has said several times that in the way they are doing things now, that they would not be doing a live show anytime soon. Also Patrick, Kevin, and related people have all said to not look for TSS anytime soon because they have evolved and don't see a need for it.

Wow you're just a barrel of assumptions. You make absolutely no sense, "you probably haven't watched DL.TV in a while, so why would this interest you anyway!" Why wouldn't it interest me? Your conjecture is annoying and illogical.

I've been watching DL.TV from the beginning. I might have missed one or three. But I don't remember him saying anything about it leaving for good.

Actually laurent's comment made a lot of sense. several shows ago Patrick announced he was leaving dl.tv. Also it was announced dl.tv is switching to once a week.

While it might be a small stretch to say it would not interest you it's quite clear you have missed many shows and one can see how another person would see that as loosing interest.

why they didn't announce this sooner.

i watched his other program for awhile but it just was too much to go back and forth between these programs. now that he's here, no problemo.

if this show is like the old screensavers, then they would have to have the whole gang there in one episode which i know is impossible yet what iv'e been longing for quiet awhile, yea.

Anyway, it was Episode 188 (http://dl.tv/2007/08/episode_188_pda_vs_notebook_ho.php) at 35:08.

Out of 191 shows the amount I've missed is quite trivial. But, I guess enough to make everyone think I never watch the show or that my interest has waned. Usually I'm watching the show while working, so I don't get everything that's being said.

From what I stated it was NOT obvious that I've missed any/few/many shows. Any logical person that doesn't make silly assumptions could see that. Perhaps that part of ONE show or part of ONE segment. From my short, simple question you guys have assumed a lot.

Loosing interest does not entail not watching a show for any period of time. For instance if I loved to watch certain show, but I had to work during the time the show is on. It doesn't mean I don't want to watch it anymore or that I'm loosing interest in the show. It just means I'm busy doing other things.

If I'm watching the nightly news while working out or building a pc and miss a couple words out of the hundreds that were said, it doesn't mean that I'm loosing interest or have lost interest or haven't watched the news in a while. It's just simply that I missed a couple sentences because I was busy during a short time frame or my focus was somewhere else during a minute or two.

Gosh guys, don't go down this road again. Because when you assume you make an Ass out you and Uma Thurman.

Yes, I am assuming this because I just witness it. I cannot believe someone would have taken what I said previously THIS BAD...

Don't worry it's not you ;)

I just like proving my point, regardless of how stupid the issue.
