Another great episode, fellas! Love seeing all the work you boys were doing while we were walking around in San Diego in a daze, not knowing which lines to stand in! :)

I borrowed the first 2 volumes of Y: The Last Man from my local library a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked. Just yesterday, I went to Jim Hanley's store on 33rd, and bought books 3 & 4 because I didn't want to order them from Amazon and torture myself with the wait. Today at work after everyone had left me at my desk to close the office, I finished the 4th book and took a moment to soak up the genius that is Brian K. Vaughn. On the bus ride home I decided to take a break from my usual playlist and began to watch the latest episode ("Zeitgeist") of iFanboy. Everything was great, and I was intrigued by the book being discussed (DMZ), when Ron mentioned Y: The Last Man. Cory Doctorow (sp?) then gave away a bit of the book that I had not reached since I have only just completed book 4. I then paused the podcast immediately, and went back to listening to Jimi Hendrix.
I'm not *****ing, and I'm not pointing fingers, but I think this guy may have possibly spoiled (hopefully just a small part of) the book for me. I don't even know what exactly he meant when he said what he did, but now all the fun theories I thought of to explain why all the men died has been tossed out of the window, with two unfamiliar words dwelling in my mind. Somebody please tell me that what he said had nothing to do with the book. I feel as though my dinner had been ruined.

"Zeitgeist" as in the new Smashing Pumpkins album "Zeigeist"? 'Cause that album rules!

As far as I know, we still don't really know why the men died. And I'm reading it in issues. I don't think they ruined anything.

Oh, thank God! I know I sound like an idiot, but I don't watch TV. Reading books, and podcasts are the only things I do when I'm in the house.

Does Brian Wood have tourettes syndrome? I have it a bit myself and saw some signs in Wood's mannerisms. That would be very inspiring.

It sounded to me like he just had a bit of a stutter, or maybe not. I sound just like he does when talking to people I don't really know, and I don't have a stutter. He sounded fine when I talked to him at Calgary Con.

Brian did have a pretty bad cold and was sniffling before, during and afterwards, so that may have contributed
