Om was one lucky guy for this episode!
As usual, liked the show a lot. I agree with the previous poster though, really could do with a little longer of a show.

I really don't care that it was a shorter show this week, so long as they give all the info needed and they get to the point. quality over quantity.

I know this show is created in the US, but as an international users I don't really care much about a whole segment about care.com which is US specific. Other than that, OK show.

wtf was wrong with the chair that om was sitting in? it made him look all weird looking - wasn't like that last week.
considering this is internet video and not restricted by the same things tv is, why do they need to "run into the hitlines?"

I have been wondering about Joyce's background, and figured someone would ask eventually. I was excited to hear she runs soompi! I have been a fan for a long time. It's one of the only places worth going for Korean stuff (in English). :)

@centernetworks
Om and Joyce like to get right into the Hitlines at the top of the show if they don't have anything more pressing to talk about first. It helps get the show off and rolling. Do you think it comes off as too abrupt?
Om's chair is the same. Maybe he was sitting differently?

so does a background check really show your true character??
@sarahlane
after reading centernetworks comment, it does seem odd that they referenced a time constraint (aside from tape length).. for a show thats online. this ep did feel like an espresso shot rather than a cup of coffee.

This is the one of the most professional shows I have ever seen on the internet, it is something I would expect to see on cable. I've watched all the episodes and I'm really looking forward to the next one. A perfect blend of business and tech. Om knows what makes a great tech product and how to ask the hard questions and Joyce is knowledgeable, optimistic, and adds excitement to the show. Together they make a brilliant balance of hosts and a fun, entertaining, and informative experience.

Give me an example of an internet show that covers what GigaOM does?
Depends on how you define a "pro IT show". I'm not aware of any other shows that cover IT industry as a business. Rather than a tech show. This isn't a tech show in the traditional way of tech shows on the internet.

No I will not name anything for you as I was not bashing this show or saying there is or isn't one like this so stop trying to stir an argument..my post was a simple matter of saying this PARTICULAR show is not working for me and I quit after 5 episodes.
And the Pro thing was just saying it's a well made show done very professional and it is a tech show and I use tech show as a genre.
I LOVE tech shows but this particular one does not work for me as I just personally find it boring as a viewer.
So don't go looking for things that has not been said or try interpreting anything, what is said is upfront plain and simple.
