I wish there was a Back to the Future Mini.
One of my favorite episodes. Back to the Future references galore.

Dude! you guys were spot on in your analysis of the Sentry! i completely agree with you when you pointed out that marvel expects us to care about this character but then they do nothing with him, but in the same respect then when they toss him into a series like World War Hulk in order to make the audience care about him, Marvel gets criticized, so basically it's a lose/lose situation.
Excellent discussion guys!

You have to build a character from the ground up before you expect people to sympathize with him just because the Hulk shows up. Just saying, Marvel.

Thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for pointing out how f'd up ASM is. I have been screaming about the "Why doesn't anyone recognize MJ" speech for 2 months now. MJ was the Marvel U equivelent of Cindy Crawford for quite some time. Cindy Crawford has not done any really big spreads and has been lying low for about 6 years now... but if she was walking down the street I would point and say "hey, look it's Cindy Crawford" immediately.
This book is just getting silly.

Hey guys, you've got a great show (duh, you already knew that), but I'm a new follower and I'm enjoying your dynamic and you guys make me laugh.
Anyway, Marvel Comics is losing more and more of my business because of the general stupidity of their comics since the Civil War. I bought almost everything having to do with CW (except XFactor because of the crappy art, Wolverine for the same reason, and She-Hulk because it's called She-Hulk). I was so pleased that the Hulk wasn't involved with Civil War because he's such a basic big oaf character.
Now Marvel's got "World War Hulk" which to begin with is a stupid, stupid name and I'm simply not interested. I dropped Iron Man when WWH first crossed into the series, I dropped Black Panther (which I was really enjoying) when they did their first Zombies issue (another stupid development in the Marvel Universe). I just think the general direction in the MU is getting more and more juvenile.
They seemed to be going so strong after House of M (which was another stupid name, but I read the trades and enjoyed it), Civil War was long and dragged out, but I enjoyed it.
The Initiative, in my opinion has been disappointing. They screwed up Thunderbolts which I was really enjoying, killed Captain America, I'm not real happy with Ms. Marvel or New Avengers anymore, and the Spider-Man titles have been really sad and unrealistic. I'm not saying there haven't been good issues coming out, but I think overall quality has dropped.
DC however, has kept my attention, loyalty and comic buying funds and they're guaranteed my $ through Final Crisis. I'm so excited about the Multiverse being back and Kingdom Come Superman joining the JSA, and Gail Simone doing WW, Batman and the Outsiders, Titans East, etc. I think they have overall better artists and writers and a clear and brilliant direction that has been at least 3 years in the making.
Can we have a DiDio vs. Quesada discussion from you guys on a show to analyze who you think is doing better things for their respective universes?
I'd like to hear your take.
Hope I didn't offend anyone in my very first post, but I had to vent!
Thanks,
