I know... I've actually been on his site while checking that out, and I looked at some of his other stuff, and never even realized it was the same guy.

Incredible, huh?
And as someone who has been to that station several times, I can truly appreciate how amazing it is. I might be there tomorrow. If I am, I'll try to remember to take a snapshot. :)

my god, i couldn't even find that secon close up in the larger image. crazy. I'm pretty sure I couldn't keep that up for 11 months.

I live in Chicago, and I've been on that Damen station platform countless times. Even though I know it's photoshopped i'm still having a hard time digesting that it's not real.
Amazing work.

I'm new to photoshop. Im very impressed with the Damen stattion. But since Im new to it im not familiar with "alpha channel", "mask", and couple other terms he has used. I know the basics like creating new layers, applying filters. Is there a website or book(website preferably) someone can reccomend so I can get up to speed and understand the nuances Bert, which he is great because he's extremely knowledgable and a good orator also, refers to and glosses over couple basic things Im sure Im suppose to know as a beginner.

Seeing as bert co-authored The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook. I think you can pretty much bet that his books will be pretty much the best books out there on photoshop.
