Which title most has your juices flowing?
Over all, I don't think I have a "most anticipated" title this week, but I am looking forward to Amazons Attack #6, Batman Annual #26 Head of the Demon, Countdown 35, Countdown to Adventure #1, and Outsiders Five of a Kind Week 5 Grace Wonder Woman. It's certainly looking like a DC kind of week for me.

Another week, another Walking Dead. Also looking forward to Teen Titans and Countdown(as usual).
I have a light and uninspiring week. I'd have to go with Countdown.

Me too. Though I'm more curious about the Batman annual and the Ex Machina special.

Countdown To Adventure is the top pick for me.

Tie between Countdown to Adventure and Walking Dead.
Didn't Walking Dead just come out last week? Or am I just losing it?

Its a Wonder Woman week for me.. I mean from Amazons Attack to Outsiders Five of a Kind Grace Wonder Woman where can I go wrong? Ironically though, I'm looking forward to getting my Donna Troy bust that i've been waiting for soo long..

Um, WD came out about two weeks or so ago. Odd but nice to have.

OH SNAP!
I'm excited for Miiiice Templar. My original reaction when I heard about was "Psssssh been there, read mouseguard." Then I read a feature about it in that stupid newspaper I always throw away. I'm anticipating it very much now.

That makes three of us excited for Mice Templar. High five, dudes.

Then I read a feature about it in that stupid newspaper I always throw away. Does that paper seem like it shouldn't have existed for the last five years or so? Seems like a frightful waste. "Hey, yeah! I remember this story from when I read it on your web site three weeks ago."
I am gobsmacked to see how little excitement this week's list can muster within my breast. It's a three-way tie for "meh."

LOCAL!!! Goddammit this thing comes out way too little. I've become rabid for this it's so good. Easily one of the best titles I've followed so far this decade.

Holy hells. Local is shipping this week? Missed that on the shipping list. Make Local my most anticipated for the entire month and possibly next month as well. Whoa.

I love Local. I have kind of obsessed over it since a random guy on my street got published in the back. That and the fact that it's extremely good quality work. Wood is the best thing evaar.

Action Comics is the title that I keep buying out of hope that it will somehow return to the mind blowing awesomeness of the One Year Later arc "Up, Up and Away" (like the best Superman story I've ever seen in any medium.)
I think that Wonder Woman is on the chopping block if Gail Simone doesn't get me hooked after two-three issues.

This Wonder Woman's by J. Torres or somebody like that right? Not a Gail Simone script.

I fully expect Grace & Diana to beat the living hell out of something. Just a feeling.
Hey, what's the consensus on Five Of A Kind? I've really been enjoying it. The one with Katana was probably the weakest. Really liked the J'onn/Thunder and Nightwing/Boomer issues. Goddamn Batman, so crafty.

The first one was ok, the second one was horrible, and the last two have been really good. I'm hoping for a strong finish.

For those of you who read LOCAL, how important is the location to the story. It seems to be the crux that deferentiates each issue, but do you find the locals to be true to form?? basically i was reading up on this series after watching the iFanboy interview with Brian Wood and it says that one issue is set in Halifax, Nova Scotia and another is set in Toronto. This sparked my interest and i wanted to learn a bit more about the series

I'm excited about Countdown every week, so for a Wonder Woman fan, I was excited about WW and the Amazons Attack finale. What a great final page!

I agree, the Katana one was the weakest, but overall it was a really good mini.

The location isn't really a crux in that you don't need to recognize it. Brian sticks things in to each issue to make the city recognizable to anyone from that city, and tries for the general feel of the people and city, but no matter where it takes place, he makes it so just about anyone can associate with it, and stay interested in the city. It's really good stuff.
