This is the one show on Rev3 that I cannot stand to watch. I don't hold it against him, but Om is a terrible host. (it doesn't have anything to do with his accent either)

Joyce gets an A+, I wish it were just her on the show.

Btw, I read Om's site on a daily basis. I'm just saying, not everyone is suited for being a host. Stick to the blog, Om :)

I personally don't think that anything has to be drastically changed, just that not every show is for everyone.

yeah, this show is hard to watch. i could'nt make it through a whole episode. i even skipped the parts where "om" was talking. that guy is a terrible host.

i love the gigaom show because they get into the deep tech stuff. stuff i dont read about. so i dont mind who is hosting the show. i like watching it alot more. i actually think om does a good job. i little rough, seems to shy, or something like that. but hes a good host.

Great show, Om is ... well, err (searches for compliment)... er,
ahhmmm. Well damn't he's OM! And of course Joyces is swell
too - nice duo, pretty good balance of tech vs industry stuff.

And of course: Still wondering about the couch/sofa issue!

Me? i *actully* do like the decanter now that i've gotten used to.

Of the whole show: The Jangl ad still beats everything hands down.
Now that's what flash ad's *should* look/sound like!

I really like OM and his interviews. People need to appreciate the effort it takes to make a show like this and be thankful (since most watch for free). They are doing a service to the tech community.

And down in the murky depths of the sea OM was transformed....

I'm sorry that you don't find Om a good host - I find him to be quite interesting and a nice contrast to the other hosts on Rev3.

But a more important point is that the GigaOm show is definitely not geared towards the folks that watch many of the other Rev3 shows (think Diggnation/Systm). It's really geared towards people interested in the business side of the net. If you don't fall into that camp, it won't matter how good (or bad) the host of the show is.

I watched the first 5 eps when the show first came out and it never worked for me so I quit ,only thing I miss is Joyce as a great host and erm.....her legs. :o

This is exactly what i was going to say but better put. No one needs to hear about how you don't like the show. We already know most people aren't cutout to watch and learn from these types of discussions. I myself cant think the creators enough for their great content.

To be honest, I loved the first half dozen or so shows but quit watching. For me, it was the Microsoft interview that turned me off to the show. It's just my personal opinion and why I stopped, that show was very unprofessional IMO. Just my 2c, I'm not saying the show is bad...just giving my reason for not having much interest at all in it anymore.

well i watched the first few episodes when they came out and though i was interested i have stopped watching completely... the whole show seems so tense and makes me feel uncomfortable to watch it and if im feeling uncomfortable then thats a problem... Om u need to relax a little buddy and joyce stay being cute and punctual! some of the disscusions are very interesting but can be way to drawn out for the ADD generation such as myself... maybe im just not suited for this type of show...
