If you go to your local drugstore or travel store look for these small wristbands to help with motion sickness. These wristbands have a small plastic ball that you tap on your wrist.

Most people buy these wristbands when they are going on a cruise ship.

I've always gotten terrible motion-sickness when playing fast 3D games. It severely limits my gaming pleasure. I know it's only a matter of minutes before I get that familiar nausea.

Then I have to go have a lie down for a while until it passes.

Worst offenders: TOMB RAIDER and MEDAL OF HONOUR

one of the old Eco the Dolphin games actually make me upchuck once. I've always got motion sickness from some games.. I'll have to try the wrist thingy.

Dan is probably half japanese. Which would make the uncomprehensible babbling by him make sense.

I'm pretty sure they tested those bracelets on Mythbusters. I don't think they worked.

I used to get motion sickness with playing fps's but now I don't I've played through halo and halo 2. I know that there are pills that you can take for motion sickness. I don't know if they work.

I haven't really been motion sick from a game since the PS1, I guess it varies with some people.

My sister would get ill from watching me play doom, whipping around to and fro, but it has never been an issue for me.

I remember wearing these weird bandaid stickers on my temples in Korea when we had field trips because I would get ridiculously car sick (I still can't ride in the backseat of a car without getting sick) Do they have those in the US?

Mythbusters used ginseng tablets that worked pretty well as an herbalism treatment but there's always dramamine

I, by far, have the most horrible case of motion-related sickness known to man!

My videogame playing days were pretty much over back in the Sonic days. As the graphics got better, I got sicker. Just horrible nausea and headaches, but that's enough to ruin the gaming experience. For the most part I can watch others play for short periods of time, but that's it. Sometimes I'll force myself if the game isn't too intense, like Guitar Hero. I've even gotten sick playing games on my daughter's DS.

A brand name of the motion sickness bands is Sea-Band. I had to get some just to be able to work out on the elliptical machines and at the gym. They seem to work pretty good, but I never thought to use them while gaming. I'll have to give that a try.

I get sick in the car all the time, but never from playing video games. The pills work for me pritty well, although i dont use them that much, i just suck it up, puke, and feel better the rest of the way.
Well, good luck to all you guys that get motion sick playing video games, sounds like an awful problem.

Man if I had to puke to play a video game I would never EVER play another game again.

I have had that motion. Only time was really "Out of this World" for the SNES. It was just the animation and frame rate I guess. I did get that a little bit in some first person shooter too. But, only after I played with the camera. It is called the fish-eye effect in some games. If it is too drastic, it can also make you sick. Most defaults are not so distorted though.
