Everybody who signed up in that 24-hour period got/is getting invites, so you shouldn't need to screw around with something like this.

I didn't know about it until AFTER the 24 hour period tho. So, this is something I would do to get in.

It's hard to take seriously any post that uses "fisting" as an analogy. However, fisting itself is quite serious.

This sounds like a valid concern. However, I doubt that MS would take notice unless you let 100 of your "friends" download the beta.
The whole "invite-only" beta testing is just a promotional stunt anyway. They won't care if a small fraction of testers weren't invited. What's better than having a party that people want to crash.
As long as there is no rampant abuses of this exploit, I wouldn't expect any sort of backlash.

No. Its not BS. They are sending the invites out in waves. They said that everyone that did sign up within the 24 hour period will get an invite. That doesn't mean right away.

That's a bit of a red herring, isn't it?
Anyways, for those who signed up, I heard it was over a 72hr period that they'd be handing out the invites. I haven't received mine yet either.

Hope the long weekend is going great for everyone. I've got some great news, last night's 10k tokens went great so we're going to open it up and send out 20k+ today. S0 if you're still without beta bliss, keep an eye on your inbox later today for your token and hopefully I'll see you guys online over the weekend.
If you're still wondering if you're suppose to have a token and don't after today, go to the Charlieoscardelta.com forums and see if you have a BETA icon under your username. If you do, this means you are SUPPOSED to have a token. If you have that icon, and still don't have a token after today, LET ME KNOW.
If you have the icon and don't have a token, AFTER today, then that means:
- You're token email was eaten by Spam filters.
- You gave us the wrong email and your's was bounced back to us.
- You don't check your email.
Don't worry though, all hope isn't lost, as we have a complete list of everyone who is supposed to have keys. So all you have to do is:
- Verify you have a Beta icon on the forums.
- Check your spam folders and inboxes to verify you didn't recieve it.
If you have done the both, then email me at cod4beta@infinityward.com and send the following:

Email: (insert email address you used in the 24-hour sign-up with)

Things NOT to do:
- Do not email us until after today. We're sending out the rest of the tokens today / overnight. So you could still have one inbound, so don't email us until after today saying you don't have a token.
- Do not email us if you do not have a BETA icon on the forums. Only members with Beta icons are supposed to currently have tokens. Don't bother emailing without a token, just keep a look out for future sign-ups for a chance at a token.
- Make sure you follow instructions. I'm going to be filtering by the Subject line. So make sure your email subject is EXACTLY like above (Beta Icon No Token). Keep in mind, it's only me reading through these emails, therefore emails which don't follow instructions will probably be missed.
- ONLY put your email address in the body of the email. No need to explanation or other text, I just need the email address you signed up to the 24-hour sign-up with. That's whats on file.
- Don't send multiple emails. We get thousands already, so please only send one. Multiple emails doesn't increase your chance of getting a token faster. It merely slows down the process. ONLY ONE EMAIL.
We've gotten about 500 emails returned to us because people signed up with Wrong emails, so there shouldn't be too many that are lost in the interwebs. I'm gonna try to get to the "bad emails" on Monday.

Oh man this beta has been eating up all my free time. I have spent like 15 hours so far and always want to keep playing it. I am WAY more excited for this game now than Halo 3 for sure.

Youtool! =P I got into the beta like 2 weeks ago! You're never on when I play it and when I see you online playing it it's the only time i have to play Bioshock(when my kid's asleep)
