View Full Version : Why are there "seasons," and why are they so short?

Ok, there's something I don't get about Ctrl+Alt+Chicken: Why are there "seasons"? The other Rev3 shows don't have that sort of tagline, and it's not like anything in the show changes each season, so what's the deal with that?
Also, why are there only 4 episodes per season? That's unrealistic.

I think it's mostly a way for them to shoot a bunch of stuff, then release it all within a certain time frame. Basically it gives them a little bit of stretching room if they have any problems like they did before. I do think the season should be altered... either make them longer, or even just stretch out the releases over like a 2 month period, take a month break, and repeat. If they really want to establish the idea of seasons with this show, they need to actually have it down to a structured formula... something they can stick to, and something the viewers can recognize and understand.

I hate the seasons thing....They should do it like that. Just don't call it seasons. Sounds too much like tv.

CAC should have seasonings.
Alex could have started with the Cajun Seasoning and ended with the Bay Seasoning, but having the concept of season allows for a cliffhanger, and a double episode (over two special nights) on its return.
