I know Alex is going to make me buy a PS3...

I'm a proud owner of a 360 and a Wii, but since the guys have now made the 'triumvant' complete, I am feeling the need to do the same...

I just know all it's going to take is for Alex to be 'wowed' by the PS3 and I'll be in too, and I fear that day. I have too many darn games to play right now as it is...do I have room for another console in my life?

I already prepared my wife, telling her that Alex got a PS3 for his birthday, I also told her if the bring out 'Kings Field' on the PS3, I'll be getting one (my favorite series of Playstation games are the Kings Field games, there a lots of haters out there, but I liked it.)

I can tell you the look on her face, was not a friendly one.


Anyone else feel the same? Anyone else like Kings Field on the Playstation?

Anyone else fearing the day when Alex says 'The PS3 is aweeeessssommeee' in an exceptionally high voice?

I wonder what his take on Warhawk is, since he likes multiplayer games more so than single player.

I've said it before but when they come out with Twisted Metal I might be forced to buy it earlier than expected. If not I'll probably be the last holdout out of all of us cause I'll wait till it reaches PS2 like pricing. Although if they happened to revamp Battle Arena Toshinden or Xtreme series I would jump up and down like a giddy little girl and beg my wife. Nothing says fun like side kicking a fellow cyclist or luger!!! JUDO CHOPPP!!

Alas, I think this will be the Christmas of the Wii. But, 2008 will be the year-of-the-PS3.

I'm still a bit on the fence about the ps3...I just don't think it's worth the money. I'm not a MGS fanboy so that doesn't do anything for me, most of the games so far have been a bit of dissapointment...there's just nothing really pressing me to get one...

Theres no question about this. The PS3 is overpriced. Sure, if you add up the components they cost more than the list price. But, the market decides the value of something, not the list of ingredients.

However. A better library of games will do wonders to add value to the PS3. Once the list of PS3 games matures, everyone will be buying them.

This is my reason also for not getting one yet too, but thats my point, when Alex gives me the high pitched 'this thing/game is fantasticcck!' I think it'll push me over the edge.

I like my PS3 a lot as well. What pushed me over the edge to get one is the fact that 80 gigs won't have good backwards compatibility. And now that they don't have any more 60 gigs and they are all out in stores...it's only going to be a matter of time before you're stuck paying 600 dollars again.

But those will eventually get a price drop as well no doubt.
