I think I have figured out a workaround to still use democracy with rev3 feeds. As we are all aware they have stopped working properly for now. My solution...

Go to www.podnova.com and sign up for an account. Add the rev3 feeds to your account and point democracy to the rss feed it gives you. You essentially end up with a revision3 channel in democracy with the latest revision3 releases waiting for download. I tested a download of Mysteries of Science Explained and it worked beautifully.

Hope this helps until a more permanent solution is found.

Yep, just copy the link to the feed you want and paste it into podnova. I'd be interested in hearing how this solution works out for everyone.

Sounds like it's a great idea, good work figuring it out.

I wasn't able to get podnova to work for me. Could you please post the url of the channel you made or some instructions of how to make ur own.

Thanks

Here is how I did it.

Gone to PodNova. Clicked to log in even if I didn't have an account. On the login page there is a link to create an account.

Created an account.

Gone into the account.

Under the "Current Subscription", added link to Quicktime Small video of Diggnation. Confirmed.

Under "PodNova services", took the first RSS link and put it in Democracy.

Worked wonderfully.

Well, after a week or so of testing this theory I have run into a slight problem. For some reason podnova isn't updating as frequently as I like. In order to get the newest feeds I have to force an update. For now I have given up on democracy and switched to podnova's own program. It works pretty good so far. If anyone figures out a way to make podnova update its feeds on a regular schedule please let me know.

Thanks to heretushi for explaining the method a little clearer. I hadn't had a chance to log back in yet.

Hopefully the feed will be democracy friendly ASAP. -- Rev3 tech guru's, I'm talkin to you.

I just got a notice in democracy of a new update. Installed it and voila, diggnation seems to be working. I guess there was enough of a rev3 user base to get the democracy folks to make some tweaks. To whomever fixed the problem, thanks. Now to uninstall podnova and resume my normal iptv programming.

I just installed the update, and it's using 500,00KB of my RAM, wtf is going on, there is a serious problem!

Yeah, same here. Although it has always been a memory hog. It works ok for me still though, unless there are other suggestions?

there are fixes for feeds, but man the memory leak is starting to bother me...I want them to fix it already!
