ok well i just picked up this game last night and i have been playing it all day, when i popped it in i was like "ok well this seems fun climbing up this first boss just to stab him." then by like the 3rd or 4th boss the one with the sword i was hooked to this game. it really sucks you in, theres amazing art work, great game play and a pretty good story. this is one of those gems that are hard to find. its not like a game you pick up play through once and trade in(well i personally wouldn't) if you have a PS2/PS3 go and pick this up. if you don't well then keep playing you xbox games(i love my 360 BTW).

It's one of if not the only game I've played that has made me cry at the end. Seriously...it's that emotional. Also the last part is epic, hell what am I saying each boss is epic!

I think the underwater boss in Twilight Princess was at the least a bit influenced by SotC. And some of the stuff I've seen of Mario Galaxy reminds be a bit of SotC. And a couple of other games that had great boss battles are Soul Reaver, Batman Vengeance, Metal Gear Solid, and two of the three boss battles in God of War.

i almost cried right before the las boss fight, for those who beat it might know what im talking about, i have yet to play ico but im picking it up this weekend, and i love the kingdom hearts games. they are well made and include great characters.

Oh man, i love this game, i played and played it, but then my PS2 broke and i didn't get to finish it... one of the best games i ever played though.

Yeah the Twilight Princess boss was a total rip off. I noticed it immediately.


Anyway, amazing amazing game. I was in awe from beginning to end. Especially the bird boss at the lake when you're hanging on his wings. On an HD tv it looks amazing with all the particles just whirring right past you. Awesome.

Yeah since the main character's name is Wander. Romanized　ワンダー　would be Wander.

Ico was voted one of the top vacation locations in a game, by some show on g4tv once. Ico is good. I played a demo or level one of SotC, but I didn't really know what to do, I just shot a bunch of arrows into a colossus's crotch and it pissed him off.

SotC is a great title, for those haven't played either ICO and SotC before, should try ICO first then SotC...so you will be surprised by the SotC's ending.

I always wonder how can they make these colossuses so detail? Especially the hair, I can't believe it's a PS2 title (although it's a trade-off between detailed colossuses and smoothness of gameplay...)

yes if you want to follow the timeline of the story but the SotC's ending would be more impressive if you play ICO first.:D

who do you mean has to focus on the collosi? if its the developers well then yeah they are the main enemy so the better they were the better the game is, but if you mean the player then the person playing doesn't really care about the surroundings he just keeps saying "Holy shit im killing a giant monster thing, this game is great"
