I just read a preview of Ubisoft's upcoming game for the PS3 (and maybe later Xbox 360, PC) titled "Haze". It looks and sounds really interesting, the TRS crew should take a look at it and talk about it in some upcoming show.
This is especially pertinent considering you all have PS3s now and are looking for games to play. It was apparently shown at the recent PAX and GC expos.

ya, i was like OMG! i want a PS3 now
but it does come out on teh 360, so im getting it for that

You are correct, no 360 development at this time. Could come at a later date...
I'll reserve judgment for this game after it comes out.

The developers say "At this time we do not have any plans for a 360 version"
That's what every company says before they go multi-platform.
Probably it will be ported over to the other consoles as well, but in any event this could be one of those games that push you over to a PS3 if your are in doubt. And for people like Alex (and me) who like multiplayer, this game should be totally rad for that.
It looks like a flavor of Halflife 2 with a jambalaya of faction conflicts and alien technology. It does say too that the factions will play totally differently based on the 'nectar' that you can use to boost your skills. The videos show some of this in action. Using it even tricks the players into thinking that the weather is nice when it really is rainy and muddy.

"Ubisoft confirms that only the PS3 version of futuristic FPS is currently in development, no plans to bring it to any other platforms."
All other platform release dates show "CANCELLED"
