The first Red Steel was apparently a reasonable game with poor controls, the second promises to be "Bigger. Better. Bolder. Bloodier" and it's online.

tbh, I don't give a monkey's whether Red Steel 2 is online, because I'm more concerned with the trumours that GH3 on Wii will ship without online play (although the suggestion is that it'll get online play after it ships somehow).

Anyone like Red Steel?

If they can get the aiming to be as precise as Metroid than I'm so in.

Yeah, and drop the whole 'push the wiimote forward to zoom'. That was annoying.

The potential is there for a really good game. I bought it and have only really played it a few times.
Hopefully they've learned from their mistakes and make the game that the original could have been.

Many people think the game is great but I just can't find a reason to enjoy it. The graphic is just average, sometimes the control is annoying (the sword fighting is different from what I thought after watching the trailer)...I just finished the first few stages, is there any big difference in the second half of the game?

I got quite lucky with Red Steel. Why? -- it made me $10!

I got my Wii release night (at Meijers, midwest grocery chain) and they had some crazy deals going on it you had won their out-of-the-hat drawing. Wiimote: nunchuck free, buy one game get the other 50% off.

So I bought Twilight Princess, got Red Steel for $25. Found out how bad it sucks 3 days later, traded it into gamestop for $35!

Case and point: Red Steel (1 at least) blew but I profited!

1: Buy Red Steel
2: Return Red Steel
3: ????
4: Profit
