Systm seems to be one of the few shows on Revision3 that doesn't make the large Quicktime version available on iTunes. This leaves us with the small Quicktime version to watch on our AppleTV's, which looks unbearably crappy. What can we do to make the large Quicktime version available on iTunes?

I guess downloading the .h264 from the website would be one step too many?

A second feed would be easy enough. I wonder if they don't want to dilute their iTunes numbers.

Um yes it would. There is the ease of auto-download and synchronization that is synonymous with iTunes. Why should I have to return to this website every week, check if there is a new episode, manually download it, add it to my iTunes, then add it to a playlist that syncs with my AppleTV? Especially when dozens of other video podcasts, including those on Revision3, simply add the feed to iTunes for me. All I have to do is subscribe, and thats that.

Actually, my question was rhetorical. I understand that people use iTunes because grabbing their podcasts one-by-one is a pain.
In any case, until they put out a h.264 iTunes feed, you can add Revision3 on Pownce and get release notices. They've actually quite regular with releases recently. Also, try adding http://revision3.com/SYSTM/feed/quicktime-large (http://revision3.com/diggnation/feed/quicktime-large) to your AppleTV. It must have a way to add feeds by hand. I think iTune does.

I too would like a higher res version of Systm to watch on my Apple TV.
I know I can download the larger version from the site but iTunes is so simple and requires me to do very very little.

I'll be damned, you are right. I never realized that you can take an rss feed and drag it to the podcasts section of iTunes. It then gets added to your library and auto updates for you. I guess problem solved!

wow.....i did that first, THEN realised the store dealed in podcasts too.......which of us is the backwards one :P

See, this leads to a common misconception that you have to pay for podcasts. They figure you have to pay for them if you get them at the "store." Really, the iTunes music store only tracks and indexes the podcast.

So today I told him if he wanted to be a personal hero of mine he would finally get around to pushing systm large to itunes. He said its already there. I said no its not. He said yes it is. I said no its not and so on and so on. Then I come to find out it is there but it is not on the revision3 page. Chuck will bug Apple to update that but if you do a search for systm it will have a large version for you there.

I had searched for it numerous times, and was never able to find the Large Quicktime version. Apparently it is now added to the Revision3 page. Thanks a lot!
