I'm totally confused

Hi, we've been in release mode for like 2 months it seems at work, so I have had very little time to keep up with the forums especially since they changed to these new ones.

I'm hoping someone can help me understand what is going on with a few things.

1. How can everyone else understand what is going on in a thread when there are replies to posts that don't exist, it's like walking into the middle of a conversation about aeronautical instrument panels, and never being able to figure out the initial topic.

2. How come like 12 different threads seem to lead to the same thread, it's very confusing when you click on a thread and it seems to load up a different thread.

3. Is it possible that I am clicking a link and it does just load up a different thread or am I dislexic?

4. Does everyone else know what the hell all the ruckus is about, because all I see is the fallout of something that apparently happened, and following any supposed clarification threads only leaves me more confused about what the hell was wrong and what I'm supposed to avoid doing.

I really liked posting on the old boards, and I would love to continue, but if I can't follow the threads, what is the point? Please someone throw me a frickin bone here.

Today, a fiery bomb of chaos was released on the geekdrome forums. Tempers flared, penises engorged, egoes deflated, and all was left in a sticky, confusing mess.

To clean it up, a BUNCH of threads were all merged into one big lovefest.

Don't worry, it doesn't happen often. Only once every couple hours. You'll be fine...

Normally I stay up near the University the Holiday Inn (old Quality Inn) near St George stn. this time I am going to be out of town a little near the airport (Congress Centre?) for a trade show. I am the tech rep and booth b1tch this time round - which means long days on my feet, and late nights boozing up prospects.

Baully - It took me about 3 weeks to get used to the nude forums. Give them some time and you'll get to be a swinger, or get the swing of things.

CRAP! So usually you're in the ANNEX, which is a perfect location. The airport is the ass end of nowhere. By transit it would take me about 3 hours to get home from there, or a $90 cab ride. The airport is the northwest end of the city, I'm in the south east area known as the Beaches (because of the beaches, go figure). Give me a holler when you're back in the Annex, loads of great spots around there.

lets be clear... it's never happened before, he's being facetious. It was all just a big hairy mis-understanding, and personally I doubt it will ever happen again either for a few reasons. We're all just good people and I think we all need to remember that.
