Sarah, first of all, I want to say that you are doing a wonderful job and it's great to see you in front of the camera again. You have the ability to capture the hearts of all twenty somethings out there. Myself included.

But onto the post. Something I would like to see is the process a show goes through to become published. From start to finish and who is involved in that process.

I think these people complaining about not being able to see a show because they don't donate are ridiculous. You all put a lot of effort into this company and I want to support such wonderful content that fills up so much of my week. I'm just happy that you are willing to go off of advertising for most of your shows. People have it backwards, we could be paying for all of this.

I'm a college student taking 22 hrs and am a Church music and youth minister as well as work for Gamestop to pay the bills. Yet I can find five bucks to donate and support. BTW, how would I donate more if I'm already donating 5 bucks? Do I just click the donate buttons again?

I agree. The easiest to do would probably be Systm, as it's in SF and is easy to get to.

I'd also like to see more of how the editing guys put a show together. How they do special effects, credits, etc.

Oh, and a map of the floor layout with labels on each cubicle would be awesome.

I think it'd be awesome to see Patrick Norton and Martin Sargent fight over a sandwich, or maybe see Prager for once. I'd also be interested in seeing a behind-the-scenes filming session of a Rev3 show, like... have Sarah and her camera man, watching a camera man and the cast of one of the Rev3 shows recording an episode, as it happens. (Hopefully without Sarah saying something too loudly, or getting in the way. ;))

I think any (or all) of those things would make the Rev3 Gazette just a li'l bit better.

You should have a Revision3 Gazette "Cribs Edition", where we get to see everybody's houses and cars.. Also, take it outside the office.. Show us the infamous dogpatch area..

Fresh Gear was one of my favorite shows on ZDTV / TechTV, I think it is really cool he has joined up with Rev3. After hearing the news that he was coming on board, I knew Rev3 would be here to stay.

I dont know if this is do-able. Since the new Rev3 studio is in the process of being built, it would be cool to stick a camera in there and record all day(whenever it is being worked on). Then at the end of construction put out a time-lapse video segment into the Gazette with the final product.

I'd say show more fruit club, but I bet the first rule of Fruit Club is DO NOT TALK ABOUT FRUIT CLUB. But here are the ideas I would like to see:

1) One on one interviews with various Rev3 employees. This doesnt have to be just on air talent, either.

2) "Day in the life of ____". Pick one guy and follow him/her around for a day.

3) I would like to see outtakes from all the shows too.

4) Fan mail segment. Take one letter/e-mail/forum post and ask that question to the person its written to. Have them respond. For example: "Dear Sarah, what brand of cereal is your favorite".

5) Cribs, Rev3 style. Lets see where you all live and whatnot. We've already seen some of Martin's place, but I wanna see more!

Can we see the servers that actually convert the shows before they go out

any meetings we can sit in on or think tank sessions ?

As part of the rev3 members, perhaps at our own expense every month or 2 or 3 we can come out to the offices and meet everyone and be on camera, make it a contest for members only ... lets see ya pirate THAT suckas !

There was several questions about the overall production of the shows (cameras, Behind the scenes, editing) in the indigital forum which was addressed kinda. I think that that would be a great topic to be featured on a Gazette ep. Sorry if the idea was mentioned before, i haven't read the entire thread.

There's a cauldron!!! where do you even find one of those anymore. But seriously here in a couple of weeks, speaking of cauldron, why not show us what the Rev 3 crew will be doing for the Halloween. Though i dobut there will be any candy spreading around the neighborhood.

Well that or id like to see a little more of what goes into tekzilla, more along the lines of where they find their idea for each episode.

Or maybe more along the lines of what the infamous Joey Rabier does in Rev 3. He does quite a bit from the original camera man for Diggnation & Infected but now also the main man for Tekzilla.

A little more tehnical, but going into how rev3 does ther HD compression and video editing. I would LOVE to see steve on a segment showing some of the stuff he does or even just someone explaining how they handle their compression and hosting and stuff.

As someone who pays I was much more happy when I was getting something that other people who did not pay could not get. It made me feel that the people at Rev3 actually appreciated my money. I loved that I was different because I had access to a show that others could not get, and that show was about real life at Rev3

Make the show members only again and show us how shows are really made.

example: I don't understand how editing for any of these shows takes longer then an hour. Isn't it just putting in the intro, cutting out the bad takes, and the putting in the credits. How long does that take. I would assume that your computers are up to the snuff on the power.

- I'd like to see a start 2 finish on an episode. If you taped all the behind the scenes setup of the TRS guys (but i think they tape in LA) How they decide the big stories. thinking of an intro Then after the taping, Follow Steve into his editing cave creating it, Wednesday if it's crunch time, getting the episode loaded onto the servers for release.

- It would be cool to see a real "Meeting" I can see not showing upcoming shows you want to keep secret. But some realistic views on how you all gather ideas. Does Jay sit at the head of the table.

- Last but not least. stick to your own rules on Fruit Club.. You don't talk about Fruit Club.

Ya! I like that idea too. But dont make it so scripted (as it seems these segmets with Martin usually are).. this would:

1. Give everyone a feel for the office, and how everyone interacts and works together to make such great productions!

2. It would be very cool to see polls of who R3G should follow around next

3. It would cover all areas of Rev3, by letting us see what the network admin has to deal with on a daily basis, or how exactly the editors go about the tasks of getting an episode edited and released each week (what programs are they using, equipment, etc.) I am a network guy and got excited when she said she would show the server room... but no one discussed it.. just a quick overview then to the next clip.

4. As stated before, would definitely give a good deal of content for upcoming episodes.

Seems like a really cool idea and I for one would love to see at least one or two on R3G. However, I do think that it is a great segment, and it is doing great as is already! just wanted to put in my 2 cents..

It's a shot for shot remake of the original, but sarah realizes that undead fruitflys have infected all the banannas in the area. It's up to her and a rag-tag group of Rev3 Refugees to break the government-corporation computer controling which is in control of all the zombies.
