Thoughts?

It looks pretty cool to me, but I don't know too much about Ghost Rider to know if it's accurate or whatnot. And Nick Cage saying "I'm gonna take this curse, and use it, against you" sounded so goddamn cheesy.

i remember watching the trailer and telling my friend "**** no, Cage is Ghost Rider?" and then he said "no, wait for it" and BAM comes up Eva Mendez so they might have secured my 10 dollar ticket.

I'm still not sure about this one. I hate the casting of Eva Mendes but I think the ghost rider effects are still in the process of development so hopefully they will look better by the end. But right now the film just seems like a cross between the fantastic four and constantine.

This has been discussed on the drome before, but oh well. Could be good, will probably be crap. I think the skull looks really bad. As I think Dan said, it doesn't look badass or scary. I don't see how it could really be done any different, but it just doesn't look right, like the hulk. I actually think Nic cage is a good actor for this role though.

the guys reviewed a trailer for this, but I'm not sure if it's the same trailer. I think it was JLo that pointed out how immature the skull on Ghost rider looks... like it's meant for kids... not aimed at adults. Having said that I think this was pretty true to the comic. The jump over the black hawks was ridiculous. I have a feeling this is a straight to video.

yea, this trailer just came out the other day, i think the guys reviewed the teaser...

i agree, the fire looks good, its the skull thats throwing you off...i think cause they're trying to put some emotion into the skull or something, that it just looks odd

I am deeply, deeply unimpressed. I hate Cage now, and I've seen a few of the trailers and I think the graphics are lame. Don't take on a character whose head is fully engulfed in flames for most of the film if you can't handle the technical responsibilities.

And put on as much makeup and use as much airbrushing as you want, we still know you're old Nicky!!!!

EDIT: I have nothing against Eva though, she's awesome. Almost worth seeing. Almost.

I can't imagine this being any better than Punisher or Daredevil. Although, I can't imagine it possibly being worse than Fantastic Four or Hulk. Dear God, that'd be a feat of Uwe Boll proportions.

Either way, I'll end up seeing it. Probably when it's on video, but still.

This is going to be complete crap with absolutely no redeeming qualities. It'll be better than Fantastic Four, DEFINETELY better than Daredevil, though

I'm going to see it, question is though, is it a rental. I bought the my first Ghost Riders back in the early 80s until the late 80s. I just want to see my memories brought to life and see what they've done. sure it will likely be on parr with Daredevil or maybe even the Hulk... but they finally made it, so I'll watch it.

that does look pretty cool. I think this will be fun to watch, but then I have no attachment to the character from the comic or anything. So I'm perfectly fine expecting a lame story with some cool visuals.

When I saw the first trailer, I said to myself: "This looks as good as daredevil."

Take that as you will.

This trailer makes me think it'll be a little better than my initial impression, but it'll probably still suck.

And I hate nicholas cage.

i'll see it and i'll hate it, but i'll see it... what else is there to see this Feb? a winter with a Marvel movie is better than a winter with no Marvel movie

Im going to see it and im pretty sure ill like it plus its being pretty faithful to the character but alot of people dont seem to like movies much when they remain faithful to the source (Daredevil), but the thing about the trailer that bugs me is that there all these rules for what you can and cannot show in a trailer for a PG-13 movie so they cant show Ghost Rider lighting people on fire or anything. The part in the original trailer where hes riding along the first Ghost Rider is bad ass.
