View Full Version : If you could be any character, who would it be

Filmspotting this week did the top 5 coolest characters, aka, who you would want to be if given the choice.
There is one rule: it cannot be a real person.
As for mine...it was hard to narrow down to five
5. Mallory Knox "Natural Born Killers"
4. Brendan "Brick"
3. Diane Court "Say Anything"
2. Randal "Clerks"
1. Neo "The Matrix"
An honorable mention goes to Tyler Durden who I felt couldn't qualify as he is a fictional fictional character.

5. Matt Tracker "M.A.S.K."
4. Xander "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
3. Any miscellaneous fraggle "Fraggle Rock"
2. Leatherface "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"
1. Jack O'Neil "Stargate SG-1"

Yeah I meant to clarify, thought saying it was from Filmspotting was enough. Just make another one!

Tony Camonte from the original Scarface.
"There's only one thing that gets orders and gives orders. [points to Tommy Gun] And this is it. That's how I got the south side for you, and that's how I'm gonna get the north side for you. It's a typewriter. I'm gonna write my name all over this town with it, in big letters!"
This has to be my favorite line in any movie.

3. Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade
2. Wolverine - X-men, X-men II, X-Men III

There's a few, but Frank from "The Transporter" comes to mind. I love those realistic-yet-larger than life heroes.
...or Stitch. He's bulletproof, fireproof, cute and fluffy!

1. Luke Skywalker
2. To have the moves (and the cute asian girl) of KURT from KICKBOXER
3. Neo
4. Jim Carrey in the Mask is a really good call (cameron diaz's hottest role to date still, ftw.)
5. The main guy in Kung Fu Hustle
6. Freddie Krueger (he can go in DREAMS, out of them sometimes, and turn into ANYTHING. If I had to be any killer anything, i'd be that. It'd let my imaginative/creative side have a turn at the wheel :) )
7. Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible III (yeah, he's got problems, but he's just so ****ing cool.)
8. Anyone who survives a Zombie Apocalypse. in any zombie movie. I've always loved the idea of the freedom that would come with that.
9. Rambo
10. MEL GIBSON IN WHAT WOMEN WANT!!! (put that in at least my top 3...i just don't wanna move it)

Elwood Blues - Blues Brother, so cool, a great harmonica player and and insane driver.
Rick Blaine - Casablanca, the definition of cool in my book.
Wolverine - X-men, even if the character is getting over exposure, he have to be on the list.
James Bond - Man with the golden gun, maybe not the best Bond, but the chance to get it on with Britt Ekland of 1974 puts it ahead of the other Bonds.
Brian Flanagan - Cocktail, who doesn't want to be a bartender in the 80's?
Tyler Durden - Fight Club, doesn't really need an explanation does it.
Rob Gorden - High Fidelity, just to put someone more similar to the real baldmonkey in there.

Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski (Bridges in The Big Lebowski) - I'm already just as lazy, and have the "**** all" mentality. I just don't own a terricloth robe.
Jim Stark (Dean in Rebel Without a Cause) - Chicks dig that tough on the outside, squishy and sentimental on the inside stuff, right? Yeah, thought so.
Dr Raymond Stanz (Aykroyd in Ghostbusters) - He was such a lovable geek, plus I've always wanted one of those guns. He's also less annoying than Bill Murray's character (even though I love him), not as boring as Egon, and cooler than Rick Moranis.
Daniel Larusso (Macchio in Karate Kid) - Everyone wants to do that crane technique and not look like a tard. Also, who doesn't want Elizabeth Shue?
Marty McFly - I'm not even explaining this. I just know you all agree.
