69-73 (C3) big block Corvette Convertible, straight frame and body, don't care about interior, don't care about matched numbers. CC:3/4 condition OK - since it will be a restore anyway :)

Why? - because they are a very cool car.
Why big block? - because I will be tearing it out to drop in a current engine (more power, lower fuel consumption).
Why don't I care about the interior? - coolas they are on the outside, they are outdated (in a very Brady Bunch way) way on the inside, and really, really uncomfortable. So, the interior would be a gut job - new seats, upgraded dash, AC, electronics package (good sound system, etc).

Chrome gets rechromed - maybe in dark nickel instead of bright chrome, and the car gets resprayed a metallic midnight blue (blue so dark that it almost looks black).

I am on the lookout for a good project car that matches that description ... so who knows :)

I go here (http://www.proteam-corvette.com) and dream.

How can anyone forget the Ultimate Get-the-girls Muscle Car of the 60's and early 70's
The Dodge Charger

If I ever get an antique car(I'm only 19 so it might take a few years)
I'dl have to be a '73 or earlier Dodge Charger Hemi :D

I mean come on, who can knock a Charger?

But uh for now

Volkswagen 181 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_181). Or, The Thing. I know many people don't seem to like 'em, but I love these things. Really wish I could buy one. Would cost a fortune to maintain tho, seeing as many of its parts are 181 specific.
