If Rev3 doesn't throw an official bash for New Years, what do you say us fans plan on a party to ring it in? If I remember correctly, this became a sort of sub-topic in another thread, but I figured I would give it its own home.

That would be awesome! Get a camera guy in California and New York and then just edit the two together. Just name a place for the Diggers/Revision3 fans to meet. Ahhh yes, talking about computers and tech in -10 degree weather. I love it!

I think we'll need a couple locations.
List your location as being in the western US, eastern US, or in another country, and if you'd be willing to organize the eastern US or foreign get-together. I think I Cody and I can take care of the western. Of course all plans for a region will go up in smoke to any official party. :)
So part 1: Find out the areas with memers interested.
Part 2: Who will be in charge of each.
Part 3: Pick location, organize, whatever. This is up to each area's head person.

First I think we need some word from the Rev3 crew as to whether or not they are going to be doing a New Years celebration. Yes, we will probably have to do at least 3 celebration (West, Central, East). I would be happy to oversee the thing as a whole. We can have people setup in each area who are in charge or their area.

I wouldn't say it's that far off if you're planning on trying to get possibly hundreds of people together.

I just sent a PM to Jay asking if Rev3 was planning on doing any sort of celebration. I know he is a busy guy so I don't expect to hear back from him soon, if at all. But I will keep my fingers crossed.

Exactly, Case! That is why I am trying to get the planning phases in the works now rather than a month before hand. It may even be too late now.

I wonder if Jay's new sticky thread about who is in the bay area might have anything to do with this.
Alas. i am in the tundra and will be taking "matters into my own hands" alone, as usual, on New Years.
Not that that's a bad thing ;)
