WOW. I didn't know these actually existed on the market yet.
If only it were a tiny bit cheaper.

well the mod is not done by apple, tho I would be rather happy if they did do one, it would be cool to have a MB pro version of this it would be easier the caring around my laptop and wacom all the time.

Those modbooks are amazingly cheap considering they really are modded macbooks, and how well made they are.(IMO far better made than a first party apple tablet would be when/if it comes out) If anything, I think Apple could learn a thing or two from that company about portable design, which is saying a lot!

The big problem I see with the design is that you lose the keyboard. Even with inkwell built into OSX, I don't want to write up a contract using the pen, I type faster than I write and it's more convent. Every other tablet computer that I've seen still retains it's keyboard which makes absolute sense.
Pen for graphics, keyboard for typing. I coul alays use an external keyboard but the adding a bulky external keyboard defeats the purpose of combinding the graphics tablet and the computer in the first place.
It looks amazing but with the extra grand and lose of a keyboard it's just not practical.

Thats the issue of using a tablet PC. There are markets that don't want a keyboard and are willing to buy a second computer for such usage. The best examples are Doctors who are on their feet in hospitals to take notes and look things up quickly, and for workers in warehouse style operations. Basically, the laptop is the replacement for the paper notebook, while the tablet is the replacement for the clipboard. Certainly if you had to pick only one computer, you'd want one with a keyboard. But not everyone has that restriction. That said, a thin fold/flip away keyboard is always nice so long as it doesn't detract from the tablet form factor.
