As I am sure most of you have already heard, Robert Jordan, the author of the Wheel of Time series, has passed away. It is a shock to me to lose two heroes (Jordan and Colin McRae) within a few days of one another.
Was anyone else a fan of his work? Feel free to share your memories of reading his work.

I read 2 of the WoT books. Did he ever finish the set?

There is suppose to be one left and as I understand it, his life will finish it up.

This series has been recommended to me time and again over the years, and I never started. Perhaps now will be a good time.
