My plans for this weekend went like this:
Go home last night
Clean
Get brakes changed today
Work
How it ended up going:
Learning a song on the piano that was kind of made up on the spot by Mишка.
Waking up late.
Getting lunch.
Going guitar-shopping.
Ending up with...
Lennon and Yoko!
How did I end up with them? After Mишка and Frenchie and I went to one store to check guitars, we went to another. That second store had a sign for kittens. Since I've been wanting another cat to keep Yoda company, I decided to see them and decided to take them. They're eight weeks old. And I decided that, since they're a pair, and it was a music store, they should have the names of a musical pair, and Sonny and Cher just wasn't going to cut it, so, thanks to the Beatles song "From Me to You" being stuck in my head, I went with Lennon and Yoko. Not John, as that's the name of an ex of mine, but Lennon. LENNON. And Yoko Ono is, well, look it up. Dude. If you don't already know.... And I was born the day Lennon was shot. So it's all good.
I'm becoming a cat lady, one of those lonely women unloved by anyone but her cats, often silently pining for an in requited love. I'm 26. This sucks!

We got this thick, pillow top mattress a few years back. The only sheets we can find are the expensive high threaded stuff. My live in fear that my daughter will foul the sheets because we only own two sets. We also have out wedding quilt. It's pretty cozy.

Egyptian cotton is overrated. I had a set of 800tc and got rid of them. Damn, shipping from Cairo was expensive. Yes, they were really real Egyptian cotton, and I ordered them directly from a store in Cairo.
My bed right now has 400tc pima cotton woven into damask. The pillows in the shams that match the comforter are gel pillows. All together, there are eight "regular" pillows (two in matching shams, two in gold silk cases, two in gold damask, two in cream cotton), and four throw pillows on my bed, including the shiny one with the tassels, which is silk.
I don't live in my bed, as Skye does, but it's hella frakking comfy.

Pretty much all sheets for beds the size I have (Cal. king) have the deep sheets, and yeah, even the "cheap" ones sail above a hundred in price.

I already share with a golden retriever puppy and a 20yo cat and now two kittens! Sometimes Nick's golden retriever as well. And if I can ever get Nick over to my place again (since we're always at his), then add in a 6'6"-tall Russian guy!

Mmmmmm crepes indeed. I'm kinda weird with my cooking. I'll suddenly get inspired to cook something, and I'll make it for like a week straight, and I'll get really good at making it and it'll be so amazing and then I won't make it for ages.
Recently started making crepes again, hadn't had 'em in years. Forgot how great they were. Been making some great breakfast crepes (Eggs, cheese, potatos, Irish bacon, tad of catsup.) and some really good fruit filled crepes. (berries, bananas, kiwis, mangos.) I just wish I had someone to cook for, I always cook way too much for just my self. Lol.

You're not really just trying to 'not eat' are you? You might lose SOME weight doing it, but that won't matter because you'll be too sick and weak to put that small black dres on and enjoy your new figure.

I've lost almost 230 pounds to date. 230. Over 80 since last December, over 50 alone since the end of May.
