If you pre-ordered it through Steam then it should just be in your My Games thing in Steam. All you need to do is download it and play.

The one big problem I've had lately though is some random crashes. Sometimes it's during really intense moments and other times it's when I'm just standing in the respawn room. Hopefully they'll fix this with a patch relatively soon.

The TF2 beta is pretty fun. I'm looking forward to seeing how it evolves over time, but this is definitely a great base to work from, but there are some improvements that could be made to make it more in depth strategy wise.

Yeah, it's pretty great, it has managed to tear me away from WoW.

Spy is ****ing epic, I've had some great kills with that class. Protip: Disguise yourself as an engineer or sniper, teams are used to seeing them run around in all directions inside their base. Medic is also a good choice as they'll back right up to you expecting some healing love.

The sniper is very similiar to the wermacht sniper from DoD:S, so I've taken to it extremely well. I've dominated some 2fort, racking up enough kills to force the opposing teams snipers to give up altogether. Wish I could say I was as good with the short range classes though. :(

I've really enjoyed the last few days of "play-testing" TF2. The only crash I've experienced is trying to view scores in-game. Remapping the key doesn't matter. The Steam forums have some fixes, but boy do you have to dig for them.

TRS clan would be epic! Make life easy for everyone; join the Totally Rad Show Steam community! It's awfully lonely in there so far.

I used to rock TF1 way back in the day (i.e. when I was in college last millennium). Just the news of TF2 got me back into gaming.

As soon as I get some skillz back, I'd be down for a clan.

Played the beta for 5 hours last night, and enjoyed every second of it. Valve has once again made a near perfect game.

Hell yes dude. That would be awesome. Especially if they gave out their Steam ID's so we could all game with them. I'd love to stab Alex in the back as a Spy.

I'm so glad there's a reason to go back to my PC now. I played counterstrike for like 6 damn years before quitting last year and I haven't played a pc shooter since. Lately I've been playing bioshock and call of duty 4 and it's with great relief that i get to go back to a mouse and keyboard.

I just downloaded tf2 like two hours ago and only just stopped now to write this. ROCKET JUGGLING FTW.

I know I've played with you, Xeno. And yeah, spies get awesome kills. Which is a total bonerkill for me because I can't really figure that class out and end up getting backstabbed while im trying to dish out some pwnage.

Yes, I was the medic who healed the other team's spy. I'm sorry.

Edit: has anyone looked at ALL of the facial animations on the taunts? press "g" while playing different classes with different weapons. They are AMAZING. I'd suggest finding an empty server before doing this, though, because you can't break the animation to shank the guy trying to unzip your skin with his fireaxe.
