I play it, but not often a lot(I'm not really playing very often since I got married) , I used to play it all of the time... LV 56 Nightelf and a LV 35 Orc.

Does anyone have any experience running WoW on a MacBook (not a MacBook Pro)? I am planning on switching to one of the two and would like to know if WoW on a MacBook is possible before deciding.

I haven't played WoW on a MacBook, but I do know a couple things...
1. The Intel Macs are the same as any similarly configured PC.
So if it meets the specs(which it does), it should work fine.
2. Google "WoW on Mac" or something similar, and I remember there is a site of people saying how WoW performed on their machine.

I have done this. It runs...ok. My MacBook is 1.83 with 1 gig ram. It doesn't look or run the same as my iMac G5, but it's alright. Not bad enough where you wouldn't want to play.

My friend gave it to me last week, but I only played once for half an hour just to see what all the fuss is about. Seems fun for someone like me not familiar at all with networked games, and not that good at standard issue twitch games in general. First guy I met just kept beating me up for no reason, but the second guy was super cool, and showed me how to kill the little wolves roaming around town. Felt really guilty. They weren't hurting anyone and I LIKE wolves...
:D
I'm a nothing level human mage named Badgermage. Maybe I'll jump in again tomorrow morning. Gotta find out if it's worth 15 bucks a month before my freebee runs out.

I'm currently playing WoW on my MacBook, and it's great. I get an average of 20 fps while I play. I have the 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 gigs of RAM

I've been thinking about jumping back in since BC has come out, but I won't, I just feel so odd playing MMOs, there's no point, you grind and level all that time...and what do you have to show for it?
I would rather have a game with decent and non-linear gameplay and a good story that I enjoy.

Update: I forgot to mention my Night Elf main is a Rouge and level 70 because of BC.
I really just go into PVP or I help people now..kinda boring now a days.

well hello, as per title this is my first post. I used to play WOW A LOT I had a couple 60s on thunderhorn hopelessly addicted until my disk drive broke BC launch day/18th birthday on my old PC and i gave it up. but my buddy used to play on a macbook and it was fine the Mac requirements for WOW are:
~osx 10.3.5 and up 933MHz g4/g5 proc, 512 RAM, DDR reccomened,Nvida or ATI 34MB or up VRAM 4 gigs harddrive space.
maybe one day ill load it on my iMac, but i kinda like the social life i gained when i wasnt spending every free hour in BWL or AQ40, but damn i do miss getting epics and pwnin
