Hey guys,

I have forced myself to completely skip past the entire movie section for the show. I don't go out and see a movie the day it's released. . .sometimes even the first week it's released. Yet if there is a movie that I would see on opening day, you guys cover it in the movie section.

I just feel you guys don't think things through before you film, and that causes you to let things slip. Even in spots where there isn't the 'spoiler warning'. Lots of the time the page is in the background and I don't see the warning, then all of a sudden I hear something I didn't want to about the movie.

Maybe it's just me though

I find it's a bit of a problem - cover movies a week after they come out maybe? Because I don't go to see stuff opening day, movies usually open the next week for me anyway. But it's not like they really spoil anything anyway and if they do I'll live.

It's just you. If you don't like spoilers, you really shouldn't be watching anything related to the movie/show/etc. at all. That's like Dan going to Youtube to research that cop show (lol). Even if they don't reveal spoilers, their opinions might gleam some stuff about the movie.

I don't mind spoilers so I have no problem watching any part of the show.

Yea, the week of release is a little soon. It's not like many people would die if they don't hear a TRS review ASAP. Although I don't think it's a big deal, reviewing movies a week or two afterwards will probably be a better way to go.

I want to hear their viewpoints ASAP. I like to know what the consensus is before I spend money to go see something, or if I have seen something I want to know what others think.

I think they do a great job of putting up the spoiler cam warning before going into spoiler territory. I actually wish they'd discuss more of the specifics of the films in a spoiler section at the end of every review. I totally wanted to hear their discussion about 3:10 to Yuma.

Maybe they could put such discussions towards teh end of the episode before the outtakes but after the sponsers. If you don't want to hear them discuss the movie they reviewed you can turn it off. Just a thought.

There's nothing saying you can't skip the movie review until you've seen it, then go back to watch.

I do like the idea of cutting the major spoilers and putting it at the end of the show, though.

As I mentioned the last time this came up, TRS is basically a review show. Some degree of information must be released in order to present a review (as opposed just a teaser). At what extent this becomes a spoiler varies, but if you feel that your enjoyment is reduced by hearing information about a movie, take this into account and judge for yourself whether or not to watch. Personally I think the guys do a fine job of giving reviews, even the spoiler cam stuff wouldn't be anything that I would be bothered by before seeing the movie.

In Australia, we often get media much later than the US. For example, Ratatouille has been open for a couple of weeks and Stardust has just opened. Our own movie review shows on TV review shows that are coming up in the following week. Coming from this background, I think there is little to no value to a review of a movie that one has already seen.

Four20, I'm assuming that you are new here, but your claim that the guys don't think things through is inaccurate. First they introduced the spoiler cam after it was suggested here on the forums, then the issue was raised with the extend of its usage and since then it has been removed.

I for one like the 'Spoiler Cam' bits, if its for a movie I don't care much about, I'll watch it. But if it's for a movie I like I'll mute the sound, and go back and watch it when I have, makes extended viewing of TRS! Now that reminds me I haven't re-watched the Transformers review yet...

I totally wanted to hear their discussion about 3:10 to Yuma.

I totally feel you there. I was waiting for the spoiler cam to go up and they just TELL us which part in particular they were talking about. (I'm pretty sure I agree with Alex, but how can I be sure?)

you're right, it's not a big deal, i skip past the movie section if a starting movie review is something i plan on watching. I basically know what movies I want to watch, there's no 'waiting for a review'. . .unless it's a very obscure movie, which rarely happens since i normally just see them review 'big blockbusters' of the week

it just forced me to download the episode instead of watching it on my xbox streaming(like my other podcasts). if im streaming on the xbox and pause or skip past, it stops the stream all together. i just download it and ftp it over to the desktop to stream to the tv

it's not a big deal. i was just curious if anyone else felt the same way.

I don't think they should change a thing (I hope this is the thought to most people out there) what they have works and works well.

Keep it up guys!
