I would have but the release time seems to be really jumping around lately. Sometimes 9:00pm, sometimes 8:30, now 8:12. What's the official time?

Well, that works for me. :)

Thank you Road Runner for making me watch the FLV instead of the MOV because you have fun traffic/packet shaping. (I have nothing against the FLV. Just personal preference.)

I am getting ****in' tired of these damn downloads quitting every 5 minutes. I have to resume restart the .mov download and stay behind the computer. it takes longer to download it from here then from a site that publishes it outside of rev3. I am sorry, but it's been crap since last week. Smaller 350mb ones are done in 5minutes, these go from 3mbyte/sec down to 150kb and then server error.

This is premium content, we're paying for it, get it together. I tried with Windows, Mac, Firefox, Safari .. and download managers. When others complained about it I had no problems, I can now relate to them.

It's not worth this much frustration and effort to watch two guys giggle on a couch.

The 2 cats was clever editing, I was bewildered myself when I first saw it I rewound episode like 3 times just to make sure I wasn't crazy, but 2nd cat is same motion of first cat. btw, The Big Announcement is Amazing. Wow.

Darn, how i will be begging on my pinky toes for this rig. I'm (almost) certain to come to the UK for this live show. Only strange this was, Kevin said it will be given away on October 5th? Are the gonna stand on the Big Ben and randomly point anybody on the streets as a winner? :confused:

That would mean i have to book a few more nights and stalk these 2 !

So, what was the big announcement? the new show? the revamped digg? .. It was a good episode, but bit underwhelming to figure out what the big thing was. Maybe because the revamp took place at that same day, but we watch it on caturday?

ok come on for the people that didnt catch the big announcement one of 2 things didnt happen. 1. you haven't seen the episode and 2. you watched it with the sound off. right before he said what it was kevin was like i have a big announcement to tell you guys, and i havent talked about it to you alex either. it couldnt be more obvious what it was. so yeah im not gonna say what it is just watch the show again or wait til tonight. when its open to everyone. edit: well now since logant gave away the surprise we cant have anymore fun with it. way to be a team player man.

Has anyone watched the Ask.com Diggnation exclusive stuff for this week's episode? Alex's "laugh" after the first sip of the beer looks like he's about to cry.

Indeed, the show will be on the 3rd. But i read it some here on the threads that they all will be in the UK from 1st until 6th. I believe..
I don't have enough cash to stalk them for that long :(

I would like to add input to the Taser Event at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

I did not see any reason that the police needed to act. Andrew Meyer, a boisterous college student posed no real threat. He was louder than many, hey my voice carries too, so I probably would have been tasered.

They turned off his mike, while Senator Kerry was about to answer his question! I would have been very angry. I wouldn't have gone after anyone but I would have let them know that what they did was turn off my 'freedom of speech'. I guess they didn't have mikes and volume controls when the 10 Amendments to the US Constitution was written.

I know that both Kevin and Alex have done some crazy things while on 'The Screen Savers, such as smashing Apples, putting computer cases on fire, and trying to get a free pizza. Pretty radical stuff, and that is what Andrew Meyer is about. He didn't ask to get tasered or to have a confrontation with the police.

He gave his camera to a peer to record something he could look at, maybe even show a prospective employer (as he was in journalism). I have done that in my past. I used to call Larry King when he had his radio show on the Mutual Broadcasting Corporation. He had this show from Midnight to 5 pm in the morning, years before he became the 'King of CNN". I on occasion would setup a radio in another room and have a tape recorder running while I talked to Mr. King.

You see I used to live in Gainesville, Florida and worked evenings at the prestigious Shand's Teaching Hospital and cancer treatment center there. I have heard the stories of corruption with the police in Gainesville, Florida at the time I worked there. I never had any bad dealings with them or the University police, but the man I worked with grew up in Gainesville and he would relate to me the things that went on there.

To end this I now live close to Port Huron, Michigan and it was the boyhood home of Thomas Alva Edison. He was kicked out of school in Port Huron because his teachers said he was inattentive. He also was kicked off a train, for starting a fire. History tells the 'rest of the story' about Mr. Edison.

Andrew Meyer, is he different, he may be, but so are many of our gifted people and often they are treated the same as everyone else, and perhaps their genius is what is getting in the way.

But it is this genius we need in our country. We need the Thomas Edison's, the Franklin D. Roosevelts, and other genius innovators in our country. We are a country desperate for leaders, when many in our society try to make us all equal in our abilities.

But God gave each of unique personalities along with unique capabilities. We need to recognize and let those that will truly help our country and society prosper as we have done in the past.

great episode...I was ordering lunch at a drive thru and happened to be at the part with the automated voice reporting the health results...had to apologize to the kid on the speaker cause i was laughing while trying to order...jeezuz, that cracked me up.

Also going on the Taser event - correct me if I'm wrong, but when they were discussing this issue on our local talk radio they played a clip and while the kid was shouting you could hear the cop tell the student, "comply or you will get tasered."

When will people learn, if a cop tells you to do something - just do it. It will save you a great deal of pain in the long run.

But I could have heard wrong too.

Sending beer over would cost around 20-30 Euros Shipping. The Beer itself costs around 14 Euros (including pawn for the glass bottle) or for the same price a 5 liter keg....

So with packaging and so on - thats around 50 Euros for 5 liter of that beer... I think the price goes down if you order a big keg - although i could imagine that you cant ship these....

The name of the brewery is "Steinbach Bräu" (which is roughly translates as "steinbach brew").

The Beer itself is called the guys drank on diggnation is called "Storchenbier" ("Stork-Beer"), which is only sold during a certain time of the year (at the moment you can buy it.)

Ahem, has anyone else noticed Kevin and Alex are starting to really rant on? How many times will we hear the "Dude, Diggnation!" story about Kevin getting preferential treatment? A few other stories cropped up that were being rehashed "Did I tell you dude about..." YES YOU DID!

Ah well, old age and all that... Kevin's 30 now, isn't he? ;)

Also... The boys need beer-pouring lessons. The head of beer on any glassful poured by Mistah Rose is just criminal! Especially when getting special beers in, he really needs to make an effort.

Beer pouring lesson on Wednesday night in London I reckon!
