Dune 7

So I just finished Sandworms of Dune and I read Hunters last summer. I have to say I'm not sure if this is what Frank Herbert had in mind, but I have to say that it was a satisfying conclusion to a great Science Fiction series.

What does everyone else think?

I am a big reader of many genres, though I haven't tapped into much sci-fi, I'd be interested in what you have to say for the series as a whole. (I can also recommend vast amounts of great series' for you if you don't have something picked out yet.):)

Do you know the order of which the history should be listened too? Im going to go through the audio books, but i dont know the order. all i know is the dune movie, the remake on sci fi and the childeren of dune on sci fi. One of my fav stories of all sci fi, so i wanna experience it all, in order.

Chapter House: Dune
Hunters of Dune
Sandworms of Dune

Legends of Dune
Dune: The Burtlerian Jihad
Dune: The Machine Crusade
Dune: The Battle of Corrin

Prelude to Dune
Dune: House Atreides
Dune: House Harkonnen
Dune: House Corrino

The chronological order of the stories is Legends, Prelude then Classic series.

I would recommend reading the Classic series first, but after that it's anyones bet which should be read second.

I loved classic Dune, and I read two of the three of Preludes, but I hated the prequels. They were horrible.

I haven't read Sandworms, but if it is worth the read I will pick it up tomorrow.

Well i have seen the orginal movie, the remake and the childeren on sci fi, so im familar with the story set.

That said, should i go .

I highly recommend that you read God Emperor of Dune and that'll tell you what you should read next. Frankly, this is probably the best Dune book of all.
