Anybody know where I can get some help with a first time image editing project I got to do?
I have different sized photos, scans and digitals, that I want to put against a background. I found Some free nature scene wallpapers sized 1600x1200 1152x864 1024x768 800x600. I want to make banner like strips out of the wallpaper. And reduce or crop to fit the photos inside and across them. The simplest way possible... My goal is for printing this out on on a inkjet printer standard 8x11 paper at least two strips/banners a page. Something like 2.5 high by 8 or 9 wide in inches for the output. |

Im not sure if I understand exactly what you are saying, but it sounds like you just need to make a layer mask on the wallpaper, with a rectangle through it in black. Then put the photograph below it. Where the layer mask is black, you will see the photo, but where it is white it will be hidden by the wallpaper
