Hi guys, just wondering if you can suggest any sites for good quality footage to jazz up some of my short films. The sort of shots typically done at the start of a show before it gets into the main content. There are some fantastic royalty free sites out there but if you want the footage, it costs a $h1tload.
Keep up the great work guys. If you can produce seven shows a week, that would reduce my stress levels waiting for the weekly show to come out. Matt |

If you wanna do some serious digging, you might be able to find neat stuff on http://www.archive.org/details/movies http://www.archive.org/details/stock_footage
A lot of the footage is either really old, or of varying quality, but there's also a lot that's just really interesting, and has a lot of potential uses. Also this came up from doing a search for the terms "stock footage" and "creative commons" and it looks like it leads to some very promising media http://www.masternewmedia.org/video_...e-20070828.htm |

If you haven't already checked out detonationfilms I would recommend it. Plus if you sign up for their newsletter they send out free HD samples when they add new footage to the site.
I also have a tutorial on how to make your own stock footage, with some freebies available for download in the description, check it out if you'd like to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CR-qKFLJzc |
