Wtf! The consolidated TDR is ending thread

Is this week really the last week of Digg Reels? If so, WHY!? Digg Reel is one of my favourite shows ever and if you guys are CANCELLING it, that sucks! If Andrew has had enough of hosting the show, why not get Annie to do it full time?

Please rethink your decision because it is an amazing show!

I too, would like to know the reason for this incredibly entertaining shows early demise.

As Matt said, if this has something to do with Andrew not being able to host anymore, Putting Annie in as full time host would be more than acceptable. She's already proven herself.

Perhaps this has something to do with Digg v4 and how the video section no longer exists. The new Digg layout doesn't auto-mine a list of the top rated videos, which basically kills the original premise of the show.

Fine. So Tweak the title of the show, keeping the general format, and continue on with a Rev3 branded "Internets Funniest Videos".

Oh god, don't try to knock off America's Funniest Videos on the Intertubes. That would be horrid.

But really, WTF? TRS goes daily. Digg Reel goes daily then gets cancelled. CO-OP goes live and dies. I think there is a giant ouija board in the lunch room at Rev3 that's making all of the decisions. Sane humans can't be in charge.

Sad to say, but I'm ready to unsub from what little I still watch. Not because of Digg Reel, but because of a long series of bad decisions. About the only show I look forward to anymore is Film Riot. Thankfully I think those guys control their own show, and are actually smart.

Which really sucks. I've been watching some of these guys since the screen savers and was always ready to follow them anywhere.

Oh well, so much for the grand experiment.

No DiggDialog update.
Diggnation is done.
Now DiggReel is done.

So all the 'Digg' references will be gone and Revision3 will be completely weened from Digg. Now Rev3 should be isolated from whatever fate awaits DiggV4.

Yep, if it's to do with "Digg" just call it "The Reel" or "Funniest Internet Videos". Make it a weekly show in the original format of the Digg Reel (not the original one with Jessica, but the long 25 minute one that existed before). Making it daily was cool but it's one of those shows that felt like you guys were trying to find just anything to put in it because there wasn't enough funny stuff.

But, I hope whatever you guys do next is just as good.

Best wishes for Andrew and Annie (I hope you both haven't been laid off, and will have a new show soon!)

Yes we do! Cancelling the show is plain stupid as it could have been made better with a little work. Maybe you should ask viewers to email their ideas in for the show.
