What do you think happened? I mean I don't expect to ever know but he made it seem like rev3 is doing some shady stuff.
The only thing I can think of that would make sense is that he was reviewing something or expressing a view on something that Rev3 didn't want on the show or they were pushing something on to him and he wasn't comfortable with it being on the show.

Likely very simple .
He didn't feel right promoting products he didn't believe in. Not really all that complicated or any big secret behind it.
