Default STAR WARS: Clone Wars Season 5

It's been awhile since the STAR WARS logo has instilled goose bumps and that tightening of the chest because you forget to breathe . . .

They've come a long ways since season 1

I enjoyed them . . . as the seasons progress, so does the artwork . . .

There are a few really, really good ones but even most of the few so-so episodes are still fun. They go quick and they give you a great STAR WARS fix.

Maybe season 4 to catch up. I actually stopped watching midway through season 3 I believe it was. It was definitely getting better but now they seem to have dealt with the biggest problem visually imho. Any large scope shot was void of any real detail and it just gave the impression that they lacked rendering power. This season seems like it has better action and way cooler visuals, and the story was never the selling point anyways. Yeah this seems promising.

Season 4 was awesome. I'm looking forward to season 5!

This show is at it's best when its out there questioning the core precepts of the star wars conceit. All of the Clone trooper episodes have been the real standouts in the series for me. Jedi's are cool, but they are essentially super heroes. The Clones are grunt ground troops and often treated as fodder even though they are clearly sentient.

Of course I'm still picking my jaw up after seeing the Sidious mixing it up.

I watched the first 2 seasons. Had all intentions of finishing but got sidetracked. I caught a current episode on tv and my jaw dropped. The art quality jumped tremendously.

"The Gathering" was great! It's a completely stand-alone episode. If you have watched recently, it would be a good one to check out.
