I really want to listen to music on my android phone, but Grooveshark wants me to pay $6 for mobile app use. I want to be able to control my music, not the app control what i listen to. Is there a solid alternative that is free both online and on mobile app? And , if at all possible, is there a way to transfer my Grooveshark data to this other service.

I know it's been a while - but an alternative is maybe spotify? It's not for free but since it is expanding now, more music will be available...

Agreed with Manni - Spotify seems to be the best of the bunch right now, since it lets you listen to your own purchased music or stream via wifi!
They also let you listen to your bookmarked songs in your playlists on demand for a little $ monthly. I know you're trying to avoid paying, but some services are worth paying for if you enjoy the benefits! Good luck. |
