Attempting to fill the void....suggestions needed!

Fellow TRS fans as the news of the ending of an era is settling in for me, I feel really bummed. I expected I would be sad, but what I couldn't imagine is how panicked I am right now!!!!

For the past six years I've looked to the TRS crew to assist me navigate the world of geekdom, of radness with dedication and admiration. And when I say "the world" I mean, movies, television, comics, conventions, games of many genres, card games, board games, video games, new tech..you name it. I learned of geocaching from TRS, read awesome books based on reviews, found out if that As Seen on TV item really worked and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

What....do....I....do....now!!??!!??

This board will slow down soon I imagine, so this is a call for suggestions of how I'll keep up with what I love. This thread is for suggestions as to where we'll do this by way of any part of the media, magazine, television show, newscast, heck e-zine. How will you attempt to fill the void?

I already listen to a few gaming podcasts like Weekend Confirmed, Bombcast and Joystiq. I never listened to any other geek related ones because I used TRS to fill that gap. /Cry

Exactly! TRS covered the entire geek spectrum so well and there was very little left out. It was like a perfect buffet, a bit of gaming, some movies....

I believe I'm screwed.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure this out too. TRS is part of my daily routine, I have no idea what I can fill the void with.

Video games are probably the easiest to cover elsewhere, I listen to a couple video game podcasts already. I also listen to the GeekBox, which is pretty wide ranging, but it is perhaps more "geeky" than TRS.

But finding something bite-size that covers all the bases TRS covers would be the holy grail.

Man guys I just don't know. Maybe there just isn't anything out there. Man imagine if there was... and what if they were even British. That would sure be the bees knees.
